We need a decent backup keeper, the team seems to have no confidence in Olsen keeping a clean sheet. As soon as I saw his name on the team sheet I thought: "here we go".

I Love this man, everything is by trial and error and slowly but surely we are ditching the error side things even though it can be painful at times. Every single one of us Villa Fans need to stick together and focus on how we can help the team improve for the next game, remembering it's not over until the fat lady sings... Olympiakos played very well and they deserve it. This is a Europe Semi Final you can be smashed really hard.

I hope this shows the Club that we need to strengthen our squad depth with serious contenders rather than passengers who fail when given the chance to step up. Going into a higher echelon of european competition next season is going to be a big problem if the squad isn't strengthened.

@@thorbampougias311 I don't think so mate 😅 The only reason I was a fan of Villa this first leg, because I believed they deserve to play a final of an European competition, they had a great season, but their coach made some huge mistakes. You cannot beat the strongest teams in England with same result 1-0 (Man city and Arsenal) and then you don't know how to win against smaller teams. He's not able to motivate enough the players. If I will be Villa coach for next match against any team, I can motivate the players to win, the trick is to tell them exactly what they need to hear.

Didn’t watch the highlights but where we are at the moment, it’s a miracle down to the manager.

Then yoi scrapped the new stand and are messing around with a kick of paint here and there. We are standing still while others advance. You dont understand how difficult this game is though, Olympiacos have the advantage here. Fenerbahçe said the same thing, they said thay this will be a walk in the park, and that we would humiliate them in istanbul, look what happened. Fener was no doubt the better team, but lost because of the coach because he played 5 substitutes in the first game. Olympiacos is no easy team, they have the advantage here

Ref was awful...pen and goal not given. That said poor performances from Olsen, Konsa, Lenglet, Luiz...nothing went right. Can't see us not conceding at least 1 in Greece, which means we have to score at least 3...at least we have Emi back then

Am I the only one who thinks they weren't that good? our mistakes made them look good,very poor performance from us.Ref was useless,Bailey brought down blatant pen.Their Goalie and players managed to put Dougie off for the Pen.Really disappointed.

They had a very clever away game plan and it worked quite well. Early lead from an in-form striker, disruptive in midfield, pressured and caused turnovers, then sat back and soaked up pressure when necessary. I was not impressed with the pre-match attitude on the various pods that we would win convincingly bc "the greek league". Anyone who follows European football seriously should know that Olympiacos is always gonna have experienced players from around the world and young talent like Hezze from South America and elsewhere.
