7:49 To be fair to Homer, his version of the Oddesey is probably different from those that came before. The bards of ancient Greece were expected to take a degree of "poetic liscence" with the legends they retold, and prior to Homer setting them in ink they evolved constantly and rapidly. Greek religion is a dizzyingly complex topic prior to people writing down their myths, as every town had a unique selection of slightly different gods and stories.

I thought "Homer's" works were written down some decades after Homer? So the people writing them down _didn't_ insert their names for undeserved fame. And Homer was already a legendary figure from the past. We don't know if he actually performed exactly the version that got written down with his name, as it evolved both before and after him.

That whole bit about Tartini's dream is kind of interesting if you think about it. Being there to teach you and inspire you to make the greatest song you've ever made... but you're cursed to spend the rest of your life feeling like your song is nothing more than a tribute to the "real" thing... that sounds like the exact kind of deal and outcome I would expect for the devil to pull off.

The "turn your head and cough" thing is checking for a scrotal hernia or other related problems. What they're feeling for is that the scrotum and testicles should be pulled upwards towards your body by the muscle contraction from the cough, and if that doesn't happen it can indicate possible problems. Also, they're feeling with their fingertips up against the top of the scrotum where there's a layer of muscle between it and the abdominal cavity. If they feel anything protrude during the cough, that's a hernia: it means something like a bit of intestine is pushing down through a gap in that muscle wall into the scrotum. Abdominal hernias (same thing, a bit of your intestine pushes through a gap in your abs) and Scrotal hernias are actually very common. Source: Dad was a surgeon and did a LOT of hernia repairs (push the stuff back where it's supposed to go and sew or staple special biocompatible mesh over and around the weak spot in the wall of muscle to reinforce it).

Thus driving the man into litteral depression at his own inbability Also, as a PillarWoman, I completely expected Alicia to be correct with that Cuneiform being that she probably saw the lowly humans making that language and went "aww that's cute, they think they're people"

What kind of animal do you want for your animatronic? My necromancy is a bit rusty but I am sure I could do it. 😂

I assume they don't check your balls at school, no. Unless you have one of those 'special' teachers that end up in prison.

Doesn't that mean IH lost a view? Isn't it better to watch it on the original channel first?

And this is why IH has included an ask for a 48hr hold on reactions to his vids. Cuz he loses views and money when people only consume his content 2nd hand.

I have a theory about History It goes like this: Most people THINK that History is the mostest boringest of all subjects And while they are not _completely_ WRONG per se, their aim could be better It isn't the SUBJECT of History that is boring, it is the TEACHERS of History that are boring History itself isn't boring at all, it is in reality the MOST INTERESTING subject of all, to literally EVERYONE When a movie has real history in it, they put that fact FRONT AND CENTER in all their advertising with phrasing like "Based on the real life of [...]" and "Based on [IRL Event]" would they do that if History was boring? Or if History was not, in fact, a SELLING POINT? No They Wouldn't Thus: EVERYONE is interested in History! It is, after all, a STORY, which also has the advantage of being REAL So the PROBLEM of History in SCHOOL is that the Teacher doesn't bother to sit down and _JUST TELL THE _*_FUCKING_*_ STORY_ Because they have to give kids scantron tests, and grades, and they teach it from a text book, which despite being the most awful method of reading history still manages to be more interesting than the loser standing at the front of the classroom!

Bruh, having read the Bible front to back just to refute my religious parents and grandparents...the bible is wild. As a man said in a funny parody, my favorite part was all the genocide. Genocides committed by order of their "peaceful" "merciful" "all forgiving" God, even against their own people. I think one of the funniest stories in there was where the Israelites pissed off God so bad he instantly killed 1/3 of them and had to be sweet talked by Moses to not, paraphrasing, erase them to the last and raise them from the very stones anew. And he only was gonna bring them back because he already promised to take care of Abraham's descendants. The best part of this story is that the way Moses got God to not wipe them out and spawn new people was by saying that the other nations would make fun of them and God if he goes around wiping out his own people entirely, and God doesn't like to be made fun of so he agreed to not do that...this time.
