It's because of AJ's commercial value. He has an enormous following of casuals that will chuck money at tickets and PPV. Nearly all the girls in my office watch all AJ fights but no other fighters. He will be playing his part in bringing the funds in, likely more than 50% of total revenue. This is my last time watching this man talk. He keeps saying that they offered Tyson 60/40 when AJ had some belts, the problem with that philosophy is that Tyson was the big money maker. He went to America the biggest market in the world and beat Wilder twice and arguably 3 times. Also Tyson was the lineally champion beating Klitschko in his home town. AJ got his ass beat in America and then gets a rematch overseas with Ruiz. I mean come on people stop this delusional bullshit. English people stop supporting this asshole Eddie Hearn.

They're talking about how generous the offer is because AJ is coming off of back to back losses, but that suits Fury in every sense. Joshua is at a low ebb and ideally would rebuild his confidence and get used to his new trainers before he takes on such a big challenge. If he were to take a couple of top 15 fights first, he'd win both and would present a bigger challenge to Fury, no question.

@@Corzhy0 and I think people forget how much furys profile has risen. Massive fights in America and his profile has risen massively here in the uk aswell. Globally fury almost certainly has a bigger profile than aj considering the multiple wwe appearances. Add to that joshua losing 3 of his last 5 fights. His multiple incidents of being a racist and then the fact he threw a proper little tantrum, disrespected usyk and the boxing belts and then stole usyk and Ukraine’s moment. Aj lost a lot of casual fans who will be buying that fight to back fury now. a 60/40 split sounds about right. To me that’s fury saying they are equal in terms of pulling power but he’s taking 10% because he’s champ

Edward seems to have forgotten that when Fury turned down 60/40 he was a World Champion. AJ is now NOT a World Champion so the 60/40 is very generous because of that little point. If both were still Champions then yes 50/50 is right and correct. But if AJ thinks he will win and they have a rematch clause then he will get the 60% in the rematch, so sounds absolutely about right to me in this present time.

Hearn’s job is to promote, not put out complete tripe. AJ would be a huge dog in both fights, so the combined probability of him winning both is quite slim. Plus, he’d probably have to make his way thru rematch clause[s] too, which would drive the odds down even further. Basically no chance he’d make it through the scenario with all the belts (and even if he somehow did, those 2 Usyk beatdowns would loom large against any GOAT claim)

Wait why did the offer say november 12th, Fury literally said in his call out that its december and AJ said hes ready in december so why on earth are they offering the deal for november...

No he didn't say December in his call out, he said "next few months". Fury went on Talksport and mentioned November 26th at Wembley and December 3rd at Millenium Stadium. Eddie also mentioned that Frank got Millenium reserved for December 17th. So November 12th was obviously not a take-it-or-leave-it offer.

Aj wants to know where he stands in the division.. I hope he takes the fight.. even if he loses it means he's behind fury amd usyk and knows what he needs to work on.
