Like a wrestler's entrance music playing during someone else's match. I'm thinking of you, Ultimate Warrior, during Wrestlemania.
I remember years ago in 2017 (maybe some remember too) there were some older HBO shows on there, and that’s when I first binged Curb Your Enthusiasm. I know it’s different because you still have to pay for Max, but those were good times.
They took HBO off of Dish Network a few years ago. Then they started sending me emails about their return to Dish. By then I was just using the app.
This is great news. HBO is the King of quality content 🔥🔥

i feel your pain lmao. HBO Max is expanding in Europe and Asia yet we don't get the love from our fellow neighbours xD
Maybe its obvious to some, but I didn't realize this. My prime membership ended a few weeks ago and I had no plans to renew. Then I saw a movie I wanted to watch and it was available on amazon through HBO Max. When I went to the page, it said "try free for 7 days" so I did that. I must have missed the part where it said it would renew my monthly prime membership and proceed to charge me $15 on the spot. It does make sense since they are connected but I swear I didn't see any warning. Then I get an email saying "WELCOME TO AMAZON PRIME". My job is going through layoffs so I really planned to save every dollar just in case. A bit annoyed at that.

So Now I have Prime and HBO Max, even with both of those there are TONS of movies you cant watch without subbing to another channel or paying $4 to rent each title. I think the service is garbage. They need a single pay structure to unlock movies, not this trash. THEY ARE MAKING IT HARDER THAN HAVING A CABLE PLAN WHICH IS WHAT WE ALL TRIED TO GET AWAY FROM. Cable 2.0
It is not an app. It is a prime video channel like a lot of others. They do have the actual HBO Max app on Fire TV which I used to sign in to through my Hulu account add on of HBO. But I turn it off recently on Hulu and switched my account to the yearly service through Amazon which is a whole lot cheaper. As a matter of fact it is not only cheaper to pay for some of the same services offered as Amazon Prime Channels through the apps instead, but more than one person can access it if they are joined through Amazon Prime household. And that is because access to someone elses Amazon Prime Channels through the Amazon Household service is not allowed.
Amazon prime should buy HBO Max it's a good idea 😊
I think Amazon really needs them because their channels last I checked are sports, Britbox (BBC period dramas), & Shudder (horror streaming service). Unless you love watching sports, you're not buying the premium stuff. But people would definitely buy HBO Max channel.

This deal doesn't target you, then. Simple. There are loads of people who will (re)subscribe to HBOMax because of this, and that you should be happy about since it will further ensure that HBO have the budget for the things they want to produce for you to watch.

Think of it as an “add on service”. So say you bought a hbomax through Amazon, instead of having to change apps, hbo max stuff would just show up on your Amazon prime page as a “channel”. I’ve tried it before, I bought BritBox as a channel through Amazon, and it worked great. They have lots of different “channels” aka add ons, that you can buy. There’s a couple horror centric and indie channels that I might check out
