I'm a UPS driver and I LOVE IT..one of the many reasons I love it is because I make small talk with 150+ customers each day. As a result, over the last couple years I've became a very outgoing, confident guy with no fears to talk to strangers and even joke with them

I've enjoyed your videos. My case is different. I've been watching to learn to build up my own confidence and it has helped. I enjoy country & western dancing and every time I go...men never seem to ask me to dance. They have to be slap drunk first and I hate dancing with drunk men. So I've decided I'm going to start being the one to ask. I don't like driving 40 minutes to sit all night. I was brave this weekend when I went and asked several guys and they all said yes. I went from a couple of dances to every other song. It was a great night. :-)

Throughout my entire life, I have struggled with low self-esteem, resulting in a complete disarray within my workplace. My inability to establish eye contact or engage in conversations, particularly with women, only worsened the situation. Just as I was on the verge of resigning from my job this summer, your video changed everything. It is with utmost sincerity that I express my gratitude for restoring my confidence. Admittedly, I am still a work in progress, but I have exerted tremendous effort to improve myself. I decided to have a haircut, invest in some fashionable attire, and directed my focus towards achieving my goals. Thank you Corey.

It sucks being an introvert. I hit the gym religiously and physically have had women gawk over me my problem is the social aspect. I'm coming to terms with the fact that my looks have gotten me women in the past but that my social skills are lacking. I also get to clingy over text and am learning to deal with this as well. I'm glad I watched these videos I have done alot of these things without even realizing it for years.

honestly corey, before my TBI i had the confidence and the humour and the knowhow to get the girls and have a good fun time and everything. now after my brain injury, i am having a very hard time with meeting people.. girls seem to be repulsed by me. i have a feeling that by not going to a new school after the accident has something to do with it considering ALL of the friends i had, left me to be depressed for years . real friends eh.. no now i am trying to live my life with a skewed sense of reality.. i need interpersonal help. not very good at talking to people or asking questionns or remembering information

@Coach Corey Wayne Sooo glad you chose to talk about confidence, because I have a question about that. I took your advice from before and now am doing much better in my social interactions, but now I've hit another hiccup. Now they women are telling me I'm too intimidating "too much" and they seem to be unable to relate to me as in times past. Is it really so bad to show a lot social value? I thought women were attracted to that, and not "wussy/wimpy" type guys who don't approach them at all.

My issue with being out in public is that there’s always some disrespectful individual(s) mocking me by picking their nose and snorting loudly, it’s their way of making fun of me and bringing me down, and I seen all types of people do this, all age ranges and demo graphics, sometimes I just don’t get people, it’s like what did I do to you? All I can think is Nancy Carigan and how her haters did her dirty.

My problem, I guess, is that I talk to strangers everytime, everyday; but I don't talk much with women... so I guess that I'm gonna do this... I'm going to say "hi" and "how are you" to the women as well! I go out, I build rapport with people but : I don't talk to women! Btw, Coach, your stuff is great! Except for the women part (because I don't talk to them much), I'm doing great with my personal life and my profession!

I'm a 13 years old boy. I don't play basketball because it's not my thing. I got bullied sometimes because I don't play basketball. Even my dad judge me because of that. Because of this, I decided to enroll to a basketball clinic. The first meeting would be on April 17, 2017. And I'm scared of encountering people. Sometimes I'am a loner because I got bullied sometimes, I feel like no one could accept me. So what would I do on April 17,2017, I don't know anything about basketball, I'm afraid because I could get bullied because I'm a 13 years old boy who can't play basketball. Please help me.

Hey, Justin. It;s always a good decision to encounter something you are scared of, but if you don't love basketball, don't do it. You are still so young and have the world of opportunities in front of you to explore and actually found out what you do love. I am from Namibia, and rugby here is like basketball in your town. Every boy here is forced to play rugby and it's not supposed to be like that. Stand up for yourself. Take the pain you have, caused by the bullying, and use it as stepping stones to reach the top. YOU have authority over what hurts you. Bullies are NOT your boss, but instead, you are the BOSS! Stand up for every other boy and girl that are forced to do something they don't want to. Show your dad how good and successful you are in the things you love. Stand up and be proud of who you are. You are unique and wonderfully made by a Creator, God, that loves YOU UNCONDITIONALLY!! He loves you SO much and made you specifically to pursue other dreams and other activities. The fact that you say basketball is just not your thing, already proves He has something else in store for you to be successful in. ;) Please don't give a bully the authority to treat you like your nothing. Like I said, YOU are the boss. You can say no! =) If these words did not help you, the only other advice I have is for you to go on your knees and ask God to lead you to stand up for yourself. Ask Him to show you what you should do and what He has called you to do. He loves you and will NEVER EVER EVER EVER leave your sight precious. I don't know you, But I know in my heart you are made to do something so awesome in this world. Wow, the dreams that God, our Father has for you is unbelievable. =D If you waste your time on the thing you do not love, the opportunities of life will pass you by. Be strong and walk in faith. Much love!

Justin Bryan Sta. Ana I used to get bullied as well as a kid until I gave self defense a chance I discovered I was a natural at. Dancing as well. What I’m trying to say is that just because you don’t know a thing about basketball now, doesn’t mean you can’t become great at it. Give it a shot. Go out there and have fun. Who knows you might just be a natural. Give it a shot.

@@davidvazquez7006 What an awful advice to give to 13 year old boy. Dude.. He said he hates basketball and that he is anxious of meeting new people because he was previously bullied because of it. Not only he probably isn't good at it (Justin, nothing wrong with that, I used to play soccer for 12 years and was ALWAYS the worst player in the field), but he got bullied and to top it all of, the only person that is supposed to stand up for himself and understand him and be there for him, his dad, is making him do what he hates the most. What do you think why a 13 year old seeks help on the Internet? Because he feels alone and unheard. Justin, if you ever read this, remember that you don't have to do it all the time. If your dad cannot understand your basic needs, it really sucks. I honestly don't know what to say. However you will soon turn 18, when you do, move out and live a life on your own. Up until then, try to figure out what would you like to do and most importantly, if you are still afraid of meeting people, talk to someone you trust. If you can't, call help center and tell them your situation. I know this is overly used phrase, probably because its true, but just talking to someone will make you feel better and take weight off your chest. Perhaps take boxing lessons, you will have basic human contact and trust me, after 6 months of training, nobody will try to bully you again! :) not to mention confidence and physique you will obtain. Good luck man! Hope youre doing well Edit: I just realised his comment is 5 years old wow. Hope hes doing well
