Waylon Jennings Dream On (Rare)

Музыка

I will always be grateful to my friend Richard for letting me have such a good collection of songs. This one is a typically great performance from Waylon, he hads another dimension to anything he sings with that great voice of his . Wish he was still with us

I remember when I was driving trucks across this great country back in the 70's and 80's and use to listen to Waylon on my cassette tapes in my truck. Those were the days.

Waylon Jennings was the most handsome man I ever met. Not only handsome and very talented, he was always a gentleman. KIND, RESPECTFUL, FUNNY,HE REMEMBERS EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE. ❤ HE CALLED ME , THE JA'NET. .I KNOW YOU ARE WITH GOD NOW 🙏. THERE'S NO OTHER PLACE FOR YOU TO BE. THOUGH I SURE DO MISS YOU. I HOPE WE WILL MEET AGAIN.

Great song. Waylon at his best. Was privileged to see him a couple of times in concert in the late 70's early 80's and remember his show to this day. His songs are legendary and his voice, songwriting abilities are too. Hope Jessi keeps digging up and releasing anything Waylon did because his real fans can never get enough of Waylon!

I've heard there's talk around sayin' I'm out of control. Something about too many bottles and a love that's grown cold. But you know talk is cheap and sometime these stories get old. But I keep on singing my songs and I still got some soul. So dream on if you think I still carry the flame. Dream on if you think that I still feel the same. Your love is just an old memory. And I'm alright You don't have to worry 'bout me. I've spent my whole life going the way that I choose. And I've tried to find a way where no one could see. And it seems unkind to know that maybe I've done it all wrong. When I see my life flashing before me sometimes in these songs. So dream on if you think I still carry the flame. Dream on if you think that I still feel the same. Your love is just an old memory. And I'm alright You don't have to worry 'bout me. So dream on if you think I still carry the flame. Dream on

I just never heared of Waylon before. I am amazed without words ! He is like Elvis, he has that voice, a good Bariton, he could have sing the opera. With a trace of cigarrets, smoky, havy, and the backg.music absolutely hot.

P.B. Floyd Maybe just maybe that because of waylon, I hate this new shit on the radio. Like I can literally take a shit in a tuba and the sounds will still be better than new "country". But nobody will ever come remotely close to waylon's toes, in my book. Don't get me wrong, I like a select few of the "newer" singers. Such as Trace Adkins, he has a great voice, but where I like him the most is his genuine, constant support of all the service men and women for our country. Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia line, Sam hunt, and all the other "bro country" shitters (see what I did there? lol) can kiss my ass while im taking a shit.

+Tommy Gilliam Ditto Tomgmy. Many times in my life that I could've seen him and didn't. Stupidly, in my younger years, I didn't appreciate a lot of people & things that I don't take for granted now. Waylon was one of those folks. Sadly, it wasn't until after his death that I became fascinated with who he was and his music. I had heard his music long as I can remember but didn't open my deaf ears to his songs until just a few years ago. yeah, One of my biggest regrets also. I watch Shooter often here on U tube . I been watching out for him coming to Atlanta, Ga. Who'll be there is Me!!

I caught my country idol at a venue in Marin County (California) in what I believe was his last year on earth 01-02?. I drove as fast as could, like an insane, possessed person, about half drunk and even blowing by the Golden Gate toll booth, or whatever it was (I was supposed to stop) and got to the gig with about half of it left. I hit my seat just as Jesse came on stage to do "Suspicious Minds" with him - it was mesmerizing!!! He remained seated (due to his Diabetes, I suspect) and only fanned his guitar, which was fine as he had a full complement of back-up MUSICIANS, but when he opened his mouth, there was no doubt as to who was singing!!! What power!! Instantly I knew that my years of loyalty had not been unfounded!!! Love that good 'ol boy!!
