I watched this as a teen in the 1980s and your dad taught me things about whitetail that I still use hunting to this day. There's also a movie that goes with this called Hunting the whitetail deer. I think I still have them on VHS

Awesome educational film. Just watched it for the first time last night. Also easy to fall asleep to. I always found these throwback nature films - be it 80s bass fishing films or hunting films like this one - to be quite relaxing. Lol.

Saw this video years ago when I was a young hunter. Always thought it was a very informative video. Have been looking for it for years to show my kids.

One of my all time favorites. Got it on VHS but it’s worn out. Thanks for sharing

Purchased this when I was a young hunter without much money and one of the few VHS tapes I had on my favorite subject, the Whitetail Deer🙂. Thanks so much for posting this. I always remembered it as a very enjoyable and informative video.

I LOVE THIS TAPE I THINK I RECORDED IT BACK IN THE 80s CANT SEEM TO FIND IT..HE MADE ANOTHER ONE BUT I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME OF THAT...SURE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT ONE AGAIN...GERRY WAS A VERY INTELLIGENT MAN....WATCHED THESE WHEN I FIRST STARTED HUNTING AND THEY MADE ME WANT TO HUNT EVEN....ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE OTHER ONE WAS CALLED.
