    Would you be willing to try this test with a fusso coat? I think a 3 inch pad would fit in the lid . It's the wax that really doesn't forgive much when you overapply it and this machine method might fix that ...

    This is my go to wax since it came out last year and you reviewed it Jon. Stunning hydrophobicity, not surprising really as although not the cheapest, Gyeon stuff is great in my opinion. I’ve applied it with my DA polisher since day 1 however I thought I’d apply it by hand with their applicator last week and it not only took a lot longer to do (which is a given I know lol) but wasn’t anywhere as even to apply and then to take off. The machine application is def the way forward, for me anyway 😂👍🏼🤩

    My f10 m5 to big for my garage. So forced to stay on drive way. I'm getting very addicted to detaling. My question is after wash and drying and decontamination stage. Quite often the light conditions are poor to carry on. So cover car. It may then be left a day or two before I'm able to move on. Would you go over car with a panel wipe. Or a very gentle wash. Or any advice before applying wax. Thanks Jon

  • @as680783

    @as680783

    I'm personally, pro-claying a coating. Even with some maintenance, a coating will suffer some degree of performance deterioration after a year. If the owner doesn't periodically decontaminate their paint with fallout remover, tar/glue remover/TFR etc., they're going to get embedded contaminants that will affect the hydrophibicity of the coating. Claying an underperforming coating will remove these contaminants and in most cases, revive its properties.
