Wax Your Bow String!!

One of the most under-appreciated things I forget about bow maintenance is waxing my bow string. Here is a super short video on my process and hopefully it is just a reminder for you not to forget like I have!!

Wax makes the string heavy. And dirt and dust stick to the string. I have gas strings on my Mathews V3X and they are great. And on my bowtech REVOLT i have threadz strings. They are good too. If you do use wax. Use just a little bit. And rub it in wt your fingers until it gets warm on your fingers so you can get the wax to melt into the string. If you use leather it can get to hot. On the string

I have started to realize that there is a debate between waxing bowstrings verses not. If you have information on it , I would love to see a link with data on it!!
Just put enough wax on your string and cables when you see them fuzzing up. You don't need to go crazy with all that wax. A little goes a long way.

That is good to know!! I have been doing this method for a long while and I thought the floss/ string being pulled along after was the way to get rid of the excess but I am learning a lot from the comments!
