Spoiler: I have never seen hwaryun use shinsu before. Since she is a guide she only leads people the way and can easily figure out puzzles. She does carry her weapon a lot but she barely uses it.

Maybe she is. Many characters can fill multiple roles or switch. Han Sung Yu is a prodigy who can fill any role, yet acts mainly as a wave controller. There are a duo of a fisherman and a spear barer we meet later on. The fisherman is more powerful, and sometimes they will switch roles, and the new spear bearer will just snipe everyone. Some people just change roles. There are unique roles, such as Guide and Defender. Spoilers: Kuhn could have been a spear barer. He just chose not to because daddy issues, and because he likes giving orders.

Each floor has its own administrator who controls just their own floor. As you go up the tower, you have to form new contracts with each floor administrator. So Bam’s contract really only applied to the test floor and the webtoon never shows him making new contracts on each new floor.

@@TheJacket2015 SPOILERS AHEAD I mean, since there are over 130 something floors (who knows how many exactly) each with theyr own tests and administrators it would be quite troublesome to show every single test passed or contract made. I assume its one of those things "that are just there" and have to ve unique to be powerfull. Like they passed over 50 floors but they only showed a couple tests since there are so many ideas for "tests" but that doesnt mean those not shown dont exist, those are just skipped.
