    Mine has a problem with the magnetically attached charging cable. Spilled water from the benchtop moved into the space between the body and the magnetic plug by capillary action, which then caused corrosion of the contacts. Even after cleaning the stainless steel contacts carefully, they won't reliably conduct all the time and I can't get a full charge. Poor design in my opinion. Any suggestions?

    Hi John, just wondering if you have any insight into why the Waterpik cordless advanced model does not seem to be available in australia? Can currently get the select model for $139 aud … thoughts? Many thanks 🙏

    Hey. It is sold in Australia. Sometimes known as the Advanced Pro - waterpik.com.au/cordless-advanced-pro-WP-560A/?_ga=2.124800970.1367285086.1709198345-1551982680.1709198345 Also on Amazon - amzn.to/3Ig3ud8 I don't know for sure, but the lack of stock is quite possibly linked to updates they have been making globally with a change in the power cable & battery, as explained in this video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qKCM2dyNabWylLA.html

    so when exactly do we have to use a water flosser because it is recommended not to rinse our mouth after toothbrushing?

    Yes, an important point. I tried a water pick before brushing, but I find interdental brushes far more effective.

    This is a video we may well do Isaac, it is on our list. But, it isn't top of our list, so I can't say if and when we will be publishing it. Part of the reason it isn't quite so high priority as the range isn't quite as confusing in our opinion.

    Yes vinegar is usually the answer. From the user manual: Cleaning internal parts: add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to a full reservoir of warm water. Point the handle and tip into sink. Turn unit ON and run until reservoir is empty. Rinse by repeating with a full reservoir of clean warm water. This process should be done every 1 to 3 months to ensure optimal performance.

    It is safe, but it can still feel quite intense. If you have just started using a water flosser, it can take some getting used to.

    Electric Teeth using an Electric Toothbrush is almost like getting your teeth polished at a dentist. So would using an oral irrigator be like getting your teeth and gums scaled at a dentist?

  • @ElectricTeeth

    @ElectricTeeth

    2 жыл бұрын

    No. Scaling at the dentist removes plaque and tartar that no water flosser can.

    @@ElectricTeeth I'm talking about how a user moves the water flosser along the gumline

  • @ElectricTeeth

    @ElectricTeeth

    2 жыл бұрын

    A dentist or hygienist will follow the gumline when scaling, but will too clean beneath the gumline and between the teeth, so there are some similarities, but fundamentally different.

    Thanks for letting us know. We will consider for future videos. May even do one purely on the sound of water flossers. This and similar models are quieter than they once were, but not silent. It produces a sound around 70 decibels which is similar to most electric toothbrushes.
