As a kid there was one local radio station that used to play sounds of waterphones & whales during their late night program,not so sure why my parents even let me listen to that at night,kinda strange & eerie bedtime music,but I grew to really love hearing the sound!

I feel like this could be a part of some pretty amazing pranks... If you're feeling too lazy to come up with something unique and set it up, just hiding in a dark corner behind something while playing one of these glorious things softly and waiting for someone to walk in will do. Bonus points if you also have something that makes a REALLY LOUD NOISE that you can trigger right after they turn on the light.

Hands down best tv series ever produced.

My parents had some old 60's wall art sculpture that sounded a whole lot like this (minus the watery aspect). The rods were about the same size, too. If you ran your fingers along the metal rods and let the whole thing vibrate, it sounded fairly creepy, but kinda cool.
