If anyone is considering going to the habitat day in the future I would highly recommend going. Had such a great time! The best part is that it all goes to a great cause camp kicking bear.

What would be the best cover option for bedding/ diversity in a 7 acre area Northern Ohio that is very wet most of the year ?

Hi Erik, it just depends on HOW WET. Silky willow, hybrid willow, red osier dogwood are some great options. Also, there are some great wetlands establishment programs for Ohio...most of northern OH was a swamp at some point before the canals.

Is there any switchgrass variety that would be able to survive a few months of “wet feet”. I was hoping to mix a variety of those shrubs into pockets made by lines of switchgrass.
