I am such a "rule " person and you just gave me permission to let go and do MY thing in painting. Oh how I needed that! I'm going to art class today and painting peonies without worry about not painting the " perfect" flower.

Thank you very much Nicki, this is the first time I successfully drew Peonies with watercolors. It means a lot to me, this is the flower in memory of my beloved mother. Thanks for your encouragement that we should feel free to play with the colors. It is really fun, I enjoy every steps and every moment in your video. Love it!

really appreciate this video! how do you get that more natural looking green for leaves and stems?

All pretty, but I liked the last best. Could you please tell me what colors you used for your rose? Thanks!

I have so much difficulty of putting the paint onto the paper....Your wonderful, encouraging, non-judgemental, let's-try-all-these-versions voice is encouraging me to fill up my sketch book (of watercolor paper of course!)

What kind of paint do you use? I only have Ecoline watercolor, do you have to use a watercolor palette or tubes?
