I like the brush strokes by the mixture of colors.The creation of different tones to the pigmentation of the leaves and the fine details that remains light and smooth by colour. It's such an awesome water colour technique !

Great summary of all the different techniques. Thank you Anna! This is definitely something that I will practice. I’ve started taking lessons on botanical illustration and work with hot pressed paper which, I find, is more of a challenge for me when dealing with the amount of wetness on the paper. I find it dries so much more quickly than cold pressed paper. My greatest difficulty has always been managing the amount of water, both on the paper and in the brush. But, practice makes perfect and this video will push me to practice these fun techniques. 😊

I am quite lazy when it comes to leaves too hehe which is why I mostly rely on granulating pigments and focus all my time on flowers 😊💕
