Levkadian Rock is a mountain peak located in the Monrepo Park. It gets its name from the ancient island of Leucada, which is located in the Ionian Sea, near the northwestern coast of Greece.
“Pampushinka” is a childhood nickname of Paul Nicolai. From childhood years, the future owner of Monrepo showed great interest in gardening. “Pampushinka” - confirmation of this. A landscape composition is created from the stones scattered chaotically on the island according to the plan of the younger Nicolai, supplemented by a bench near the shore and a gazebo in the center of the island. In memory of his childhood nickname, Paul Nicolai calls the island “Pampuschinka”.
Drakkar - a narrow Viking sailing and rowing boat with a high bow and stern. Hence another name for such a vessel - “long ship” (Langskip).
