Water into Hydrogen - How to make a Simple Hydrogen Generator - hho

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In today’s video, I will show you how to turn water into hydrogen and oxygen to generate HHO gas. In this video, I separate the water molecules, which are hydrogen and oxygen, by electrolysing water, to produced gas.
Note: you can also use potassium hydroxide powder or drain cleaner or salt to conduct water. But if you use salt the color of the water will turn brown due to the production of hydroxide ions. Also, the efficiency of the drain cleaner solution is stronger. Hope you like this simple hho generator I made, thanks for watching see you in the next diy video.

It would be nice for some narration and explanation of the materials used and why. Does the weight/mass of the water change with the extraction of the hydrogen molecules? If so, how long would such a volume of water last? Interesting video, can't wait to see more from your channel, thanks for sharing!

I'm actually really glad that you made this video. When I was a kid before KZread I made one of these without a flashback arrester which thankfully you included And the very first time I put a flame to the hose it exploded the entire thing apart and everybody came out saying are you okay and I could barely understand what they were trying to say. 11-year-old me was wild😅

I had a friend do something similar as a young teen. Apparently he managed to flash-fry off his eyebrows. I didn't get quite as extreme when I tried it myself as a kid, but I took it a step further and used the DC output of my model train power supply. I kept the anodes and cathodes separate so I got two inverted glasses containing oxygen and hydrogen.
