Water hole wildlife behind our home in Hendersonville, NC. (2020-21)
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Wildlife water hole! Simple to set up - I went to Tractor Supply and purchased a 15 gallon water tub used typically for farm animals. Then I dug a hole alongside a wildlife trail behind our home, filled the tub with water, planted a few ferns and positioned a trail camera above the site. I use a sponge and bucket to empty and clean the tub and I leave a hose nearby for refilling. After a few months, most of the wildlife becomes familiar with the water hole and begins to feel at ease stopping by. / All my trail cam wildlife videos are filmed on a single acre of land behind our home within a subdivision consisting of hundreds of other homes in Hendersonville, NC. - / @wildlifebehindourhome

Viewing Mother Nature in all her glory, just as you have captured here in this video and others, is truly a blessing. Thank you.
That cat sure is eating good. Poor little squirrels.
That Bobcat is hammering the squirrels.
Just beautiful! Wow!
Those white squirrels are beautiful.
Amazing that so many animals are living so close to your property and are taking advantage of your hospitality
LOL! That bear's gonna get his water!
The animals seem so appreciative of the water!
Giving so many such a simple thing as water, means so much!!! 🥰🥰 and that bear has an absolutely beautiful shiny coat!!!
I live on the other side of the mountain from you and I still can't believe what I am seeing.
This bobcat is in a league of her own! Thanks for sharing…
There’s a couple of acres of woods behind my yard in Carthage NC and I was thinking of sinking a water hole like yours on the edge to help the animals. I have seen deer, rabbits, birds and squirrels -nothing as exotic as you have. But who knows what may show up if I build it! Thanks again for sharing your wildlife with us.
Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful job, I’d love to do this behind my own home 😃
4:39 / 6:14 Rest in peace, squirrel.
What a smorgasbord of wildlife, excellent!!!
Opps... he got him.

Mama is a good little hunter.
I have never seen so many albino squirrels like in your woods. I must say the bobcat are efficient squirrels hunters. That last bear was huge! Thanks for sharing.

Not albino. Grey patch on head, dark eyes
The coyote (coywolf?) decided to mark the waterhole as his at 8:57. The fox sniffed all the stones around the edge, but chose to ignore the big one with the annoying scent. But the deer certainly noticed that very stone! Bobcat Squirrel-killa was oblivious to the coystone and the raccoons couldn’t have cared less…
wow what a wonderful forest you are blessed thank you
After seeing this video I built this same water hole. I"m 20 minutes north up high in Asheville. My tub might have been larger. After three days a bear came and ripped the entire tub out while it was full. Their strength is remarkable. He also filled it full of holes. I may try again this year.

Weird. I've never seen any aggressive behavior toward the tub by anything!

So sad that bobcat got both white squirrels. I hope some others wander in from breviary to repopulate the area.

I use the “no glow” Browning Spec Ops Advantage and edit with VideoPad Editing Program for sharpening the video, etc.
Healthy chain of animals.
Rip the white squirrels
I hope the bobcat doesn't catch the albino white squirrel.
Very good footage. The idea of the water + trail cam gives impressive results. What is the animal in 1:38? It does not seem a lynx. Thanks!

@@FototrampeoCheck bobcats can range from 12 pounds to 40 pounds so seems about right! Looks to be about the same size as that red fox.
Papa bear gigantic! Bobcat 5, all others zero!
Are white squirrels common around Hendersonville? We have some here in South Mississippi. I don't recall seeing any when lived near Cherokee back in the 80's and 90's. Just curious.

@@WildlifeBehindOurHome thank you so much for the reply. I live just out side Asheboro about ten minutes from the zoo. How many acres do you have and how many cameras do you have set up in order to this volume of video? Again thank you

Well done! How important it is to regularly empty and clean the tub? Could stagnant water make the animals sick?
