Fire safety: Get some (4 to 6) galvanized pails, paint them red, and fill them up 2/3 with sand. They won't evaporate and will always be ready to douse a small fire. The water is good, but these add another safety layer. Take care.

Great idea !
Hi Diana and Eric! That was the sweetest video I've ever seen. You two really are meant for each other. Both of your faces are full of happiness and sunshine. So much fun to watch you two spending time together. Two peas in the same pod. i Love the improvements you guys are making. You are transforming TatorLand into a Love filled Home. God bless your family of Six. Your friend, Louise

I hear if you spray water directly on plants while it's hot and sunny out burns them.

Best time to water plants in the summer is dusk to full dark.

I've heard that's a myth too. Otherwise day time rain would constantly ruin most outdoor plants and grass.

Yeah, it does. Their poor plants already looked a bit distressed. That is why soaker hoses for early morning watering is best. It supports the plants against the long hours of daily heat (likewise.) Watering at dusk and night can promote certain types of disease and fungus.

@@fringestream990 Think about it a minute....What else, other than rain, do you get when it rains....Clouds...That block the sun for the most part. We are experiencing one of the worst draughts w/100+ degree temperatures in many years here in South Carolina....So, us farmers and gardeners wait for dusk or full dark to water our plants/crops to avoid wasting water that will basically evaporate before it soaks into the ground and "steams" our plants/crops. Many bigger farmers utilize rotating "water cannons" that are on timers to keep cash crops from dying in the blazing heat. As I type, we are getting a light rain, the first in something like three weeks, despite an almost 85-degree temperature which is also the coolest it has been in three or four weeks. Once the rain, such as it is, stops things will get hot and steamy once again. Already this growing season, thanks to a lack of rain, those crops that many farmers depend on to survive (financially) are coming on undersized and not as desirable on the produce market. If you want to water your plants in the daytime, when it is the hottest, that is entirely your business. I hope the best for whatever you are trying to grow/keep alive.
Eric, I'm glad you passed on the first feed bunk ring. If it was galvanized steel, when heated gives off zinc oxide which is toxic. The ring you purchased was much better!

Repaint that firepit once a year with tremclad black to protect the firepit from rusting and deteriorating prematuraly. Do this before rainy season for best results.

Hey thanks for tip
Loved when she went throw to the ground move 😂😂😂❤
Get you some straw at tractor supply to put in your garden beds. It will shade your soil, add organic material as it breaks down improving water retention and will keep water from evaporating away so fast. Water at sundown so the plants can soak it up throughout the night
Hey guys and happy Friday! I don’t know how old the timing is on when you made this video but I just used a garden tub and cut the bottom out. It’s one of those that are a little bigger than a bushel basket. Galvanized steel with handles on both sides and works great as a fire pit. Check them out at any, hardware, big box or garden store or store that has plants and stuff. actually, I did not cut the bottom out of mine and just let it corrode out over several years.
Eric, something you might want to think about that I've found really handy on my truck is a rubber mat for the bed. It keeps stuff from sliding around and if you put your bike in it if gives your bike tires something to grip to really, really well. Just a thought but I'm on my 16th year with one and it's been great so far. Keep the good stuff coming buddy.
Eric, been watching for years but rarely post. Good to see you found someone that makes you happy. Way to go bro!!!
Great content lately, you seem content and it shows. Good for you bro.
Sounds like you need to get another 500 gallon tank or trade in/sell yours and get a 1000 gallon one. $75 delivered seems like a smart/good deal PS- miss Opie and Tara give them some love from us 😻🐾
Diana is a great addition to the channel. She looks like she's so much fun.❤
Hey Diana and Eric yall look so happy....I love the firepit..the smiles on yalls face makes me so happy...Eric you needed her she is a hard worker and you have someone to do things with now..❤😊
Great segue with the music and campfire at the end! End to a great day. Glad y'all are enjoying summer
Eric never seen you happier. Looks good on you. Pretty sure you got a keeper.
I have been watching your videos for many years now, always enjoyed every one of them in your good times and bad times, but I am glad to see this one because you appear happy and sharing experiences with someone is always better. Its amazing how simple your videos are just really about everyday life can be so entertaining, so thankyou for being transparent about yourself, it must feel weird to have the whole world watching your life go by but in all its a beautiful way to document ones life and in many ways it connects us as humankind. Thanks for just being you.
Good personality fit for you two. I really like that you two are realistic body sizes and confident to not hide from the camera. Enjoy your time together.
Beautiful couple
Hopefully, the metal is treated and / or stainless. Fire+water+metal=oxidation (rust). Make sure to give it a coat of heat-resistant spray paint to keep a barrier between the metal and the environment when you see any spots starting. 👍

My wife and I raised chickens for many years. We always had to have a friend or neighbor collect eggs, feed and water them. When we started RVing, we had to get rid of them. They were a lot of fun though
The paint touch-up on Frosty looks good!
Can't beat having a solid truck
Love that fire pit!!! You and Diana have a genuine happy face all the time now. You BOTH deserve to be this happy??
Love this video on Sat morning ! Perfect. Thanks for making more than 1 video a week, is that your family has grown🎉
Great to see y'all working together, Diana seems cool! Love the new truck and the fire pit looks like Texas to me, I live in Texas! Great video❤
Love the couple stuff. Hope it’s long lasting.
Diana is fun she adds to your channel
Hey Eric. Put some brick in the bottom of the fire pit to prevent the fire from burning thru the metal..
Eric, You seem so happy right now! Thats awaome brother! Another great video !😊
Rock garden looks great. Love the fire ring. You sure look happy. The best I’ve seen you in awhile.
What a fun video and Diana is such a compliment to your life it's so good to see you happy. I can see the two of you making quite a unique homestead, the cozier the better. Always look forward to your videos.❤ The firepit works GREAT, and what a labor saver. Diana looks great, nice to see happiness for two.
Love ,Love, Love this video. Never seen the spot on the lens. Love seeing y'all together. Love seeing the two of you so happy.
wonder if you can use "grey Water" to water the plants?

no. there are environmentally friendly soaps and such but the other stuff, what you are washing out of the dishes/clothes, is not really good for plants. and it stinks almost as bad as black water.
Here’s an idea for a fire pit we’ve used before. At a junk yard, etc., try and find a tractor wheel, metal that is. Makes a great fire pit. Have fun! BTW, love your new hat! It’s so you Eric!
Have you done a video on your movie screen? We are camping at our first nascar race in Sept and I really want one easy to put up and take down. We’ve been to many races but this our first camping at Bristol…
You guys are cute. I’m happy you found someone to love and share your life with🥰
Having someone to share things with makes it a whole lot better. Happy for you both!
Question!..... What ever happened to the merch you used to have. I bought shirts from you before. I would love a shirt with your opening scene in front of the camper holding the kitties 😸 with a faint Jax in the background. Maybe Diana holding her kitties 😸 💕 on it too Awesome 👌 shirt 👕 idea 💡 Please think about bringing the merchandise back
Thanks for another great video.Definitely heart warming seeing the love and romance develop, well done.
😊 plastic green fence, the groundhog went through it like it was nothing it breaks at the slightest pool don't waste your time on the if you're wanting to actually keep passed out. It has to be some sort of metal.

Eric, liven the life! Always something to do having your own property, which is a good thing. Hey I delivered a log cabin kit to Pine Top Az. Back in the mid 80s . Wow I’m getting old 😂 . Thanks for sharing!
Awesome to see you so happy! We like the new Eric.
Eric been watching since you were a student in college. I’m so glad that you and Diana have found each other. I think she is a beautiful person inside and out. Please take care and cherish each other and those feline babies. Jax would totally approve!! Lots of hugs from cat mom in southern Virginia.
Hungry buffalo seems like they want to go out of business, also you seem happier and your girl friend seems to be a smart girl with the drilling of the wholes around the fire ring for the air.
Been watching your videos since 2016, it's been great. These latest video's have been the best ever! I love watching all the projects at taterland. It's so cool to see you and Diana building such a cool life and property together. Keep up the good work!
We use stainless dryer drums for our fire pits..last a really long time and already have all the holes and no bottom....
Hey I am your biggest fan! Dianna is a keeper!
There is a farm guy I saw on YT that uses a very small square mesh type fencing for his 5 acre property fence, he most likely got it at a farm supply store. He is very rual..and that's what he uses for his animals and boundary fences. He put stakes in and used some kind of hook to attach.
Diana's such a pretty lady, and she looked great in that black dress! You guys really are cute together, and I'm hoping for the best in your relationship.
I bought that same fire pit from TS and wouldn't recommend it. It has air holes under the angle iron inside and draws air like a torch and after about 10 fires burned up the cheap thin angle iron.
The fire pit is so cute, maybe place some bricks under it to keep the heat off the ground for safety .
I'm so glad that Frosty is working out so well for you. It was obviously a very good decision to buy a full-size pickup truck. The manufacturered firepit was a good idea, and the closing scene of the two of you sitting by the fire was wonderful. Eric, we're enjoying sering you so happy and smiling. It's obvious that Diane is tickling your fancy. 😘
I have the same truck NF, mine is an 05 Ive pulled a jeep that was over 2 tons, the trailer it road on alone was 1000lbs with a loaded bed, of 4x4 parts transmission etc.. about another 700lbs, that back in 2014 truck still runs great, and that was one of many trips. Nice fire pit.
That video got me teary eyed. They look so happy together. ❤️💙💜
........................... there was a little thingy on your camera lends ..... You're welcome ..................... haaahaaha !!!!!!!!!! Love ya guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the same firepit You may want to get a piece of exterior grade plywood or metal(tin/alum.) to cover when not using to keep the rain/dew from rusting it. I use heavy plywood with a concrete block on top.
Save your Pennie’s for a solo stove, you won’t regret it! We love ours no chasing the smoke!
If you drink that water, you might want to reconsider the hoses you're using..
At the temp you have use the dryer with our propane. It draws hot air away
That was an awesome video! I love Diana. She is fun, positive, happy and beautiful. The smile she puts on your face is great to see. Great content as always! ❤ P. S. I love the fire pit!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
The lions den has a nice atmosphere there. Good restaurant find. The burgers looked awesome.
I think Diana is great. The best to both of you 😊 Perfect choice for the fire pit! Love, love, love!

OK....I like the fire pit and the faux grass!!! Makes things nice and pulled together. You 2 seem like your doing well and I am happy for you both. I sure hope in time it continues to grow and flourish. Nice to have a travel companion and home base partner and growing into a wonderful togetherness. BIG HUGS .....
The Sport Trac has it's uses but you made the right decision buying a full-size pickup. There are several really nice Sport Tracs still being used as daily drivers, light off roaders, and VERY light haulers and tow vehicles in our area...Hell, I would not turn one down as "beater" if my '05 Chevy Colorado 4X4 was not in as good a shape and capable, for my needs, as it is with almost 300,000 miles on it.
It's a nice change seeing Dianna in your videos. Thanks for sharing. Love yah Nancy
