Amazing podcast. Extremely insightful and 100 reasons to worry
Time is running out. It's heartbreaking how our rulers, both Civilian and Military, have ruled this country since its inception. Multiple crises are looming but the leadership is engaged in petty politics. Shame on us for electing such an a*******. Btw very informative and eye-opening session, keep it up!
This Podcast was nothing less than a breath of fresh air. Insightful yet inspiring. It is high time we take measures to tackle the impending water crisis for the future is bleak!

Verily, JWT is contributing, more than it can, in the promotion of education in Pakistan. Absolutely applaudable
Author is wrong on the proportion of water usage. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization, out of the total available usable water in Pakistan, about 90% is used for agriculture (including domestic use in rural areas), 8% is used by municipality for urban areas and 2% for industrial usage.

India should go ahead and optimize its use of its share of water to the fullest. For us even 20% is not enough. Should probably renegotiate the treaty if possible. We were too generous to an irresponsible nation.

@anupyadav2036 Just imagine if the roles of Hindus and Muslims were reversed and invading Hindus made Pakistan after killing 1.5 million Muslims and Sikhs. I can bet you that these Muslims would have conducted jihad genocide on Hindus in India, and then would have waged numerous wars against Pakistan. Then they would have stopped all water from all rivers. Kashmir Hindus would have been all killed by now. All the Babri and Gyanvapi like temples and another 1 lakh mandirs would have been destroyed by the barbarians. In short Muslims are enjoying Hindu nature of peace and generosity.

41:48 Why in Pakistan retd Army men projected as experts?😂 But, this gentleman is knowledgeable.
how is Col an expert in water matters...
With all due respect, Pakistan has enough water. It is mismanagement at it's Worst. Pakistan Needs to have an efficient water storage storage system. So much Water goes wasted. Water is destroying Bridges, killing people, flowing into the Ocean. Why can't Pakistan channel it's water Smartly?

From pakistan. But i agree with the mismanagement.
Haven't watched the video. But I guess, a retired general is going to blame India n pakistani politicians for water problems. Pakistani general should not be given any active role in administration after they retire.
As a lower riparian State ,Pakistan was entitled to a maximum of 50% . Nehru had hoped that his magnanimity would usher in an era of friendship and cooperation with Pakistan. A few years later , in 1965 ,Pakistan returned Nehru's grand olive branch gesture , by invading India
Every anchor talking about their own leader
India 's Water is like OPEC 's Oil To make Pakistan see reason and sanity India should abrogate the Indus Water Treaty. Pakistan uses its geographical advantage to deny India transit facilities with Afghanistan. Similarly , India can use its geographical advantage as Indus , Jhelum and Chenab rivers flow from India to Pakistan. OPEC uses oil and a weapon and for making money. India can use , vis a vis Pakistan, Water in a similar way.

Absolutely correct, Failures of Pakistan to conserve water as usual is being act of India. Saajish mentatality nation. Not only their madarasse chhap, Laal Topi, Jihadi mentality, educated peoples too are born anti India.
Why are you not talking about the water mafias and poor infrastructure which leads to massive leakage? And what about the murder of Perween Rahman who was a Pakistani social activist and was killed by Mafias allegedly supported by Pak Gov?
Absolutely no one discussing the main issues of pakistan
PM Nehru was over generous in allocating 80% of water to Pakistan in the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 . Maximum water for Pakistan should have been less than 50%/ India should seek a review in her favour of Indus Water Treaty. But for the present India is taking the right steps well within her rights in the Indus Water Treaty i.e. Stopping totally the waters of River Ravi by constructing Shahpur Kandi Dam and dams on Ravi’s tributaries like River Ujhh and River Basantar . Construction of maximum number of hydro electricity dams / navigational facilities on Rivers Chenab , Jhelum and Indus and also utilising fully ,for irrigation-al / drinking water purposes, India’s small share in these rivers.

Diverting Chenab water to Ravi and on-wards can solve our Indian Punjab's water issues. In fact , SYL can be upgraded as CSYL -Chenab- Sutlej- Yamuna Link Canal

Very Nice Latif Sab , But you knowledge on treatise are not enough. Treaties do not exist on human life's. Pakistan have already voileted Nehru Liyaqat pact and peace treatise. Pakistani army did a great genocide of minorities in Bangladesh 1971 and denied equal rights in present Pakistan. Even Pakistani constitution officially discriminate minorities 26 places. Treaties only stand between the on the basis of relationship . Go and read the nuclear treatise between US and Iran. What happened with that treaties ? Treaties exists until the Indian parliament don't interfere. Go and read nationalisation of Egyptian Nile.
