The AI voices make everyone sound so sarcastic and the fast-paced, poorly-written, "too edgy yet not edgy enough" dialogue just adds a whole nother layer of irony that it actually becomes funny for those who can handle the cringe XD

2:05 To be absolutely fair: I have seen some custom VRChat models of Angel Dust that actually work really well. The secret is that you have to give his hair a degree of floofiness and volume, as well as adjust his body proportions with some curves so that he doesn't look so much like a bean pole.

The fact that "Angel Dust" is clearly wearing a bathrobe in the live-action content farm video where Charlie is pregnant will never stop being hilarious.

The thing about this HH content farm Minecraft thing is as an abridged series it would actually be hilarious. Like I’m sorry, but I genuinely cackled at some of the stuff these guys were saying. I mean, the guys clearly had fun with it, since they seem pretty self-aware, you know? I really love abridged content. It’s great. But the fact this is done by AI (I’m convinced that’s what the script is it’s gotta be right??) and uses AI voices in Minecraft makes it dodgey for me. And these guys are also apparently making money off of this, which isn’t okay at all. As a fan project for fun and for free, I actually kind of love it. But the AI and making money off of it is what bothers me. Because actual abridged content takes a lot of work! You have to actually write a script that makes sense, get voice actors, and edit the clips together in a way that makes sense (sometimes even reanimating scenes if you want to go that extra mile).

I didn't have an issue with AI usage for kicks, right? it's the moment it was utilized it for profit, for job replacement, that I became extremely irritated. It's kinda wild how the discourse for AI only really started when Art got involved. AI very quickly took over for a lot of writing and no-one batted an eye. I work as a freelance writer, and I've seen noticeably less and less work since 2019, when AI REALLY took off. Don't bet on the lawsuit, Legislation is not as simple as "This is banned now.", there's so many loopholes and work arounds that it might as well not exist. Zach Hadel had the perfect take on it, which is basically: Adapt or Die.
