I believe “Christmas Card” is based on a true story of a girl from Norway in L. A. that he found. I think he sounds like Bowie!

Morten's first solo album "Wild Seed" was a masterpiece. The songs “Brodsky Tune” and “East Timor” in particular are very profound and moving due to their true historical background. Morten's last solo album Brother is also one of his best works, especially the title song "Brother"..

Morten’s Brother tour in 2014 was fantastic! I was lucky enough to see him at the Trollrock Festival in Beitostølen, Norway! He touched my hand that night, I didn’t ever want to wash my hand again! Also, my friend is in the video Do You Remember Me.

Scared of heights is a cover of a song by another Norwegian singer : Espen Lind. You should listen to the original (really different musical arrangement) and also "When Suzanna cries" and "Where the lost ones go" with Sissel. And the cover he did with Kurt Nilsen of the A-Ha song "Stay on these roads"

Hello Mr Fabulous PMD 😊 thanks for this video, lovely to watch. As a life long A-ha fan I was lucky enough to see Morten solo in London in 2014 at the Shepherds Bush Empire. I think he played all of these songs, it was a fabulous gig and so interesting to see him outside of A-ha as he was much more chatty! Love most of his solo stuff 🙂

Hi. Despite listening and watching Morton and A-ha constantly. I love watching you watch him and them. I fell I love with Morton when I was 4!! I'm 43 now and he's incredible still. You seem to appreciate Morton alot😊, you should watch him forgetting lyrics. It's adorable and very common, just like him playing with his in ears !! 😂.xx

I just revisited "Scared of Heights" on another reactor's channel who is going track by track with a-ha and all solo projects. I described it as too bland and poppy. But that flipping chorus is insidious. Trapped in my skull for hours every time I hear it. More qualified folks than me will recommend live Morten tracks but I'm sure one of them will be his performance of "Heaven's Not For Saints" at the 1996 Eurovision (he was a host, not a participant!).

A kind of Christmas Card is a great song. Thank you for your reaction! Did you know that on the B-Side of that single was his version of Sam Cooke‘s Change is gonna come? It’s a beautiful version with an organ and a special melodic guitar and you can hear in Mortens voice that he was in a blues band before he joined a-ha. Worth checking out. Also did you already react to the video of „I‘m the one“? The video instrumentalisation is different than on the Out of my hands album which is more digital.
