I have a Patek Phillipe gold pocket watch my grandfather left me. I had no idea the significance of it until years later. It was damaged and I could not afford to have it repaired until recently and so I took it to a watch repair place and the guy's hands started shaking when I handed it to him. He then explained what I had in my hand. I had to sit down. I had previously grumbled about my grandfather leaving all my cousins expensive items and all he left me was a broken watch. Turns out I got the nicest gift of the lot. I had no idea that watches could tell you the day of the week, the phases of the moon or could act like a stop watch before all that could be done with a digital watch. I also didn't know the really old ones were wound with a key and that was what was at the other end of the watch chain. And don't get me started on that fob. Lucky me it's got my birthstone in the middle of it and I had no idea they came that big. Thanks Grandpa RIP.

He did a shit job "researching" and seems to get most of the models and or prices wrong.

First, the wrong Omega Seamaster was shown in the picture and listing. Second, You chose the highest price on Chrono, you can get the model you showed (the newest 2018 variation for 3k to 4.5k depending on which color or SE model.)

Take the case back off and air out the movement in a non humid place, now make sure to oil the O ring or seal ring if it has one, these steps should keep the moisture out so you don't have to worry about the humidity.

if you want to spew uneducated bullshit then this isn’t the place. people here are trying to learn. for your education; there are many British tier 3, sas and para units that are issued rolexes, the explorer 2 and the sea dweller are the most popular. conversely there are usaf combat units where the pilots were issued certain rolexes like the gmt master and there are many countries around the world that have done the same. some of them have stopped due to cost and others still issue them in higher tier units. think twice next time before parroting random stuff.
