The white dial will get most of the attention, but both black dials look good too. WD have been doing good lately.

Considering its only 12.8mm thick, the mid case looks HUGE.

Thanks again for this review. After watching it, I pulled the trigger on the WD16570. I ordered my WD16570 from the Watchdive website on May 1st. It arrived in the Chicago area the morning of May 6th! The fit and finish are excellent, and it wears very nicely on my wrist. Very pleased that I made this purchase, and for $139, I consider it a bargain. Great lume, smooth operation, came with a nice case and a couple of handy tools.

This watch case seems almost identical to the Pagani explorer 2 version. A comparison between the two would be interesting. Also the case seems very slab sided, maybe they would have thinned the midcase and protruded the case back slightly more

Between this and the sm gmt bb pro which do you recommend as both are quite similar in style? Great review

great review 👍🏼 i’m curious, did you take the movement out of the case to get an accurate measurement of the dial? i assume the whole dial is 33mm but the exposed part we see is closer to 31mm then right?

Yes, and that's correct. I didn't measure the opening but it should be close to 31mm

The F023 is awesome...if you like the 1655 layout, go for that one, it's awesome. I'd say the sugess is nicer than this, but not by that much. Again, slightly different styles, I prefer this for the crown guards and non-snowflake hands.

@@EscapeWheel want the Sugess s431 with R hand, but the wobbly crown you pointed out made me think twice . The Hroudland f023 i really liked the case shape (also you pointed out on your review) but not a fan of the layout. I prefer white dial like what you envisioned of the RCW. Really hard to pick up with the those 3 😔

very nice...except the Mercedes hands..make me want to change them for milsub ones 😅

I got one and it's great other than mine had a stupidly powerful cyclops like x5, makes the watch look ridiculous, so it's going back!

I still like this dial better. has san martin not used PVD coating for the indices and hands it would be closer. I just love the contrast here vs the san martin which can lose the contrast at certain angles. i also like me some crown guards :)

The gmt arrow or triangle size is not proportionate to the mercedes hands, I saw the rolex older versions with this kind of gmt hand on a Mondani books. The case is not a rolex case, what kind of case did watch dive model it on? The crown guards are pointy and not squared up, is that a design they copied also? What I like about it is the bgw9 lume, the finishing on the bezel and case matches seems good, also the size of the case. I am leaning to get the white dial orange hands, it is good that they did not add the GMT text on the dial.

The case was modeled loosely after the vintage explorer 2 case...I agree, they missed it a little bit.

Bunun yerine SanMartin SN0054-G-E1 alınabilir. Birebir aynı neredeyse.

Idk Steve I'm trying to like it but every aspect I like about the original is missing. The case is so chunky and missing that slim refinement, the dial looks so out of proportion and the crown guard is so oddly long. I hope they improve in a v2, at this point I'll start saving for the gen.

The printed logo is a no go for me, not only on this WD watch. The magnification of the cyclops is another one. I'll wait for San Martin or Sugess to get it right.

I really want to like this, but it just seems a bit off to me. The crown guards are unattractive, the cyclops you've covered, and the hour markers look too big. Apologies, but much prefer the SM.

Probably they have markers of that size in stock, so using them might be cheaper than making new proper smaller indices.

Its a shame these watches have a really thick rehaut.. looks like a wishing well

If only they had an option with no cyclops - me this is not a dive watch (it has a fixed bezel for a start, and most divers don; tcare about GMT), so why try and dress it up like one?... leave the cylops off. I wouldn't trust myself to try and remove it.

I can see that...the originals have is to they added it. IMO a date is more useful on a GMT watch than a diver, so I'd rather have it on this than a dive watch, personally

I have returned this model to watchdive, the bracelet is poor quality, I sent it back, as they won’t shoulder the shipping expenses. I am exhanging it to the WD007 with mesh no date. Lessons learned is I will no longer buy on watchdive site. It is my second purchased to them supposedly, but not happy with the experienced on this model, sending it back at my own expense, and arranging it by myself. The bracelet on this ones are flimsy and inferior quality, it is like a cadisen watch brand poor quality steel bracelet.

That's wierd, the bracelet on mine is fine, it's the cyclops I have an issue with, on mine it's about x5, looks stupid. I'm having to send back to China so probably end up with no watch and no refund as it'll vanish in transit.

Shame on the cyclops.

I'll never buy a Watch Dives watch for the same reason I'll never buy a Phoibos ( and I like them both): The logo is horrible. 🤷🏻🤦🏻
