Rick, I'm so backwards, only discovered KZread channels less than a month ago. Began with antique trains, then binging your 'Rick Steves'' and now have become friends with Growing Up Without Borders. Now this Monday Night Travel takes the cake. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity, personality and expertise with those of us who'll likely never travel more than a few hundred miles from home. Be blessed, Young Man
Visually beautiful videos, engaging dialogue, interesting and informative. Been enjoying your videos for years, thanks for being a part of my life, these videos are my happy place ☺️
Hello from 🇬🇧 Love your shows Rick
Thank you Rick. Its a wonderful presentation as always. One thing about trio peaks Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, I have a different story than what you explained here and I once got to know it from a local in Grindelwald. The legend goes that Jungfrau who is the girl friend of Eiger is separated by Mönch who always stands in between and never allows both of them to meet. That is why Jungfrau has remained a virgin. The name Jungfrau actually means a virgin girl.
Good! Just found the souvenir soon from Zurich!
Rick, have or would you ever explain, to us who don't know, what a cog-wheel train is and how it works. I've a hunch but have never heard. Thanks
