We must worship the Creator and not the created. Give God the glory for giving us a show and tell of His creation. Imagine seeing God who is the greatest light. God is in control. Psalms 148: 3. Praise Him sin and moon. That is what the sun and moon did today, they were obedient by fulfilling God's word. His glory is on display. Praise my God, the Creator of heaven and earth. That why I serve Him. He is amazing!

About 30 minutes beforehand I noticed the sky started to get gradually darker, which up until a few minutes before the peak the sky looked like somebody put a translucent cover over the earth, which it it was still bright out but not as much as normal. I went right outside my home, recorded it, and felt exhilarated with a sense of calm at the same time. There were people cheering in my neighborhood and a few set off fireworks in celebration. My home security cameras actually went into infrared mode because of how dark the sky had gotten. I’m so happy I got to experience something like this

Someone should alert our fellow Americans to the amazing, inspiring, and miraculous astronomical event by which their position on the earth faces away from our local star. It happens every 24 hours. It's called "night" and it's even darker than an eclipse!

Hehe, yes. But a solar eclipse is something special. People are used everyday sunlight, called day and non sunlight called night. That’s why it’s special when sunlight got dimmed for minutes, when it’s daytime. But I like astronomy in whole. I like to watch moon in the afternoon to evening to night and the stars during night too. I like aswell unusual weather events like a halo around sun caused by Sahara dust here in Europe recently.

Just clippin my finger nails, bitting half off just in time, and more clipping off the white edge thin part, the tip is gone now, there are no words to describe such a happening, can't even put my finger on it. Wow, what a sight.

they want to show us the experience was like, but then they show it to us through the special camera lens. wanna see what it looked to the naked eye. we can see the special camera lens thing any time. just point your regular camera at it.

@@BokanProductions lol, that's pretty funny. i still would rather see that. what i've sometimes caught glimpses of from regular camera shots was it looks like the sun with a black dot in middle. i guess the camera adjusts and makes the corona look really bright.

You can’t or you would destroy the camera sensor, just like you would destroy your eyes without the glasses. They have to keep the filter on the camera during the partial. But totality it is taken off. So the corona IS the part you see with the naked eye. The corona looked very bright even though the sun was blacked out.
