Watch this video before you buy one of these. A handheld vacuum cleaner, of course.

This is NOT a review. I'm not selling anything; I don't make a penny if you buy one or not. It's more the type of cleaner you SHOULD buy.

This 7-minute video took 3 hours to record and edit. Imagine how long it takes to make a more complex 30-minute video. Only 63 likes so far out of 360 views. Thanks to those 63 at least. Does that mean all the other viewers DON'T like it??

Very nice to see you making videos again..! I totally agree with your premise for this video. We have had similar bad experiences with a couple of integral-battery "Dustbusters" over the years. The batteries in them are marginal to start with and only last 2-3 years at best. Were we to buy a new version it would have to be a model using removable battery packs. 👍👍

Hello Robert, thank you for your good wishes, most appreciated. Sadly, my health has not, and will not improve. I have good days but mostly not so good days. On the few good days, I will try to make a video. I will do my best.

I was just watching your video on progressive lens markings mine wete bought in the UK for an extortionate amount and I too am a ‘fussy bastard’ as I can catch the outer one in my vision on my new set - I thought I’d got dodgy lenses until I started reading up. Bonkers. Also in agreement with this video. Thanks for posting the lens vid, I thought I was hoing mad.

How visible these numbers are does seem to vary quite a bit between different makers of the lens. Few people seem to even notice the code, sadly you and me CAN see them. I've noticed some people never seem to clean the lens. Personally, it drives me made if even a speck of dust settles on my lens.

Hey Man!!!! You have the comments turned off in your video from 4 years ago. It’s about numbers on your glasses…. I too have numbers on my progressive lenses and they are driving me nuts. Eye glass shop states I can upgrade to the premium lenses for another $120.00 US dollars to make them go away!?!?! WHAT!?!? I’m with you, WHY does the manufacturer put that on them!?!?!?

The numbers are to identify the proscription. Without these it's just a piece of plastic. These numbers are laser cut. It seems to vary from one manufacture to another. It does seem ridicules to have to pay more for something you should not see anyway. My answer is to simply reject the lens as unsuitable for purpose. This is law in many countries. I think I might suggest where to put the $120 extra!! My channel has now closed, due to health issues, I have removed comments from old videos to cut my workload down somewhat.

have missed u michael hope you're well, i feel your pain with these vacuum cleaners. i bought a makita one 35 quid off amazon and of course it takes standard makita batteries. I bought one of those ljm l12 amps you have, my days have i had issues with the DC offset. 75mv on the speaker terminals on a +-50v supply, and of course connecting a speaker sends the bias west. ended up having to modify the circuit so i can set the offset on a pot, same with the bias to like u did. got there in the end. look after yourself old pal keep well.

Good to hear from you James. If you have DC offset, it's normally the first 2 transistors out of balance. If you use a matched pair the offset should be under 10mV.

@@MichaelBeeny Yes, when I built my L12 amps I hand-picked matched pairs of transistors for the input stage and the offsets are very low on either channel. However, if you can add an adjustment pot to the circuit it can be made even better. I recently did that on a headphone amp which was running at around 27-29mv and now it is zero on both channels.
