Still on this money making mater,My spouse and I are adding a variety of stocks/ETF to my present holdings for the long term, We've set aside $250k to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, I believe it is a good time to capitalize on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualizing short term profit.

I totally agree with you because since i I've maintained contact with a financial advisor. In the current cultural landscape, the difficulty lies in discerning the opportune moments to buy or sell when dealing with trending stocks. I would rephrase *"make quick money day trading"* to *"risk extra money that you don't plan on investing to potentially get a return instead of blowing it"*

We are investing 35% in our 401k and fully investing in our IRA’s. We are totally out of debt but got started a little late but will be on track in retirement. Not 100% where we would want to have been if we had started in our 30’s, but better off than we would have been had we not gotten outta debt. It’s never too late ppl so do what he says because it works. We also have a fully funded emergency fund in a high yield savings account. Thank you for helping our ppl change because behaviors must change in order to succeed in our financial future.

Thank you so much for doing the Lord's work. I watch your videos daily! They help me so much, I may not have too much money to spend, but I have so much more confidence knowing that I am laying a solid foundation for my future and my daughter's future. You've made me love finances instead of fear them. I can confront money and talk about it with my family and friends. I finally feel that the generational curse is breaking and I will be one of the first millionaires in my family!

Time to retool my financial life & apply these lessons....

I don't agree my brother that broke people are lazy. Broke people alot of times have brokenness in their lives that directly effects their finances internal and external factors included.

I think it’s hard to label ppl when we don’t know them. A lack of knowledge puts ppl behind. But our culture promotes big ticket items that make ppl go out and do things that aren’t healthy for them with their finances. I was married 20 yrs to a person that had no concept of money and spent it like water running out of a faucet. After that marriage ended I took hold of the nothing I had left because we lost a lucrative business because of poor money management in that business, and started over. Today because I learned from following Dave Ramsey in 2006 I became more aware that debt steals every spare dime we will ever have because interest takes away our ability to invest properly. We have to learn to live below our income and use that money to get out of debt and then start investing. I wasn’t lazy when I had my business, I was just not educated enough to know how to manage the amount of money I was receiving so it ruined me. Also being tied to someone who loved nice things more than financial peace, made it difficult to succeed. Take stock in who your life partner is because if they aren’t willing to do this, that also can be a deterrent. But after that I got on a budget, got out of debt and now I have the financial freedom to invest. But I believe it starts with changed behaviors, discipline and knowledge. Because of this show I’m setting up a Roth IRA’s for my 3 grandchildren and will teach them to continue this process throughout their lives. If ppl would sacrifice early, they could live comfortably later. But the Jones tend to have more of an influence on ppl than their desire to change.

Very true! What about people who work two/three honest but low-paying jobs to provide for themselves/their families (think about our parents’ generation for example). Just because someone is broke certainly doesn’t mean they are lazy. Along with brokenness (about which Anthony has suggested to get counseling to help figured out poor spending habits) is the lack of knowledge about financial strategies the working-class can apply to gain wealth - the reason why so many are listening to this; it’s geared toward middle-class people who now know wealth is possible for them.

My Dad had me a little late and he should be retired but the economy won’t let him. What would be the best route, Stock,a business or what.

You had my full attention when I heard you say" Be the best employee that you can because not everyone can be an entrepreneur." Dave Ramsey has mentioned this too. I've seen so many people push this and then talk down about those who work a 9-5 job. Thank you!
