It is astonishing how animals seem to recognize that other animals are babies and should be treated gently and also how they tolerate their silliness. You see it in all species, cats, dogs, horses, goats you name it. You know that this will be a wonderful lifelong friendship for both of them.

YES! very true! I've witnessed my own animals do this over the years! They are very intuitive!

She's the size of his head but he's so gentle and welcoming. It takes a lot of skill not to hurt someone that small.

What a brave kitten! She was very young, tiny and still wobbly, had been mysteriously transported to a strange place and left in a cage while an enormous and strange kind of creature checked her out. The cage opened right at maw of the monster - and she wobbles out and tries to touch him 🥰

I love that together they are a Mini Cooper

Currently our cat 1 yr F is crouched on top of the kitchen table waiting for our dog 5ys F to walk past so she can pounce on her. The dog knows she's there as this is a regular thing but she continues to walk past and act surprised when the cat pounces all part of the fun I guess.

Looks like the start of a beautiful lifelong friendship to me.

If you have a loving owner like this your so lucky..

I will never forget the time I brought a stray kitten in my house. I was holding her in my hands and let my big 110 lbs German Shepherd/ Black Lab come close to check her out. He immediately had the kittens head in his mouth. He didn't chomp down on it. He gave me a look as if to say " oh, you didn't want me to put her head in my mouth? Ooops my bad!". The kitten started hissing and seating to get away from him. He was a gentle giant who wanted to play with an 8 week old kitten I found under my porch. The cat lady next door took her in. I still chuckle when I think about that.
