if your turbo engine not making power like before, you may have leaking air pressure somewhere or the turbo shaft is stuck
in my case the wastegate actuator shaft was broken leaving wastegate open and not letting the turbo build pressure
if the wastegate actuator is broken or stuck in the open position, the wastegate remains fully or partially open, diverting a significant amount of exhaust gas away from the turbine wheel. This situation leads to a decrease in the boost pressure, resulting in reduced power and slower acceleration.

Had 1 car with a turbo & it was a 4 cylinder twin stick 1984 Dodge Colt. Only had it for parts of 2 years & sold it for more than I paid for it.

I am going to check my car soon and I hope this is not the cases but even so at least I would know what real issue is instead of keep having to look. I have a few questions though- am I supposed to expect all mechanics can weld? Is it insulting to make sure the pipes are cleaned like you did ? How much can a job like this cost ? Can I have him try to diagnose the issue without replacing it (can my mechanic do an air leak test)? Is there a sensor that could be triggering the codes?

Hello. I have a 2015 Ford Escape with 2.0 Ecoboost. Can you tell me how I can clean out and carbon deposits on the turbocharger? Can I actually clean parts of the turbo without removing it? Also what cleaner and tools would you recommend to help clean /remove deposiths turbocharger

Hi im having a similar problem with my car. I have a 2016 jetta tsi with the 1.4t and my waste gate seems to occasionally get stuck open or closed. I keep getting the epc light and after watching your video i checked and the bar isnt broken its just dificult to move. Is there a way i can clean or lube it without taking everything apart or should it just be replaced all together? I know this is an older video but i hope someone sees it and has some insight on what i should do thanks in advance!

You have carbon buildup there, I would suggest you try crc intake valve and turbo cleaner
İ change the actuator still esp fault and code p2263
