My dog was like that when I got her and shes a tiny terrier but I had to put her into her crate, which was her safe retreat space it was cosy, covered in blankets, and shut the door when people visited. Now she's the biggest love bug. Love, time and patience.

He always wanted to be a good boy, he just needed good people ♥️

actually the bigger the man is the more humble they are... big guys never had to fight for their place between same age kids etc. Small people always had to push through anything and those have rather tendency to be aggresive (most often aggresion comes from defence or by being scared)... also the small people always must prove they worth, thats why they might be highly ambitious ... check the hight of most dictators or gang leaders etc. cheers )

What I love about this guy is he was never intimidated by Pablo at all, just simply realized he needed to be shown love and attention (who knows how Pablo was treated before he got to him) and was willing to put in the time and effort bravo! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 P.S. If you want to be in your feels more. He never did give up on his guy. Pablo passed away in January after battling cancer for a year with his mom and dad around him. It’s sad that he passed but it warms my heart that he got to spend the later portion of his life dearly loved and in a safe home instead of a shelter. Brings tears to my eyes

My dog rarely ever does that and my family's had him since he was 2 months old from a private breeder. He only shows his stomach to me and my mother, he rarely shows it to anyone else, ESPECIALLY not my dad. May have something to do with the fact that we kept his balls on him.

We have so many cases of humans abandoning the fur friends that love them, while this dude loved this dog so much that he fought every step of the way to be loved by him. My soul is healed.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Some dogs have been written off as "aggressive" because they have been through systematic abuse and they lost their trust in humanity. There are few people willing to take the risk of making them love again. This is one amazing dude right there. I wish there were more like him. Poor boy. You know he was terribly abused to have that level of fear & defensiveness. Poor boy. I'm so glad you found Pablo & showed him the love & patience he needed.

I sure miss seeing his videos glad he was adopted by an amazing family and lived his best years before he went to doggie heaven....Rest Well Beautiful Boy

I love stories like these. Here's a guy who never gave up, everyone could learn a lot from him.

His other owner was probably going to use him for fighting which is why he didn’t like men. He was definitely abused.

So sweet! It’s great to see someone who actually cares, and has, as he says, the patience and love to make it happen. We need more people like this couple in the world!

I don’t think you understand how much I needed to see this. I’m currently in the middle of getting our rescue dog to like me. It’s a journey.

It is. I just took on a GSD with fear reactivity issues so I know its tough at first. It can be a long slow road but with patience the dog will get better and you will end up with a fantastic companion.

It’s amazing what kindness and patience will do.

The patience this man took to gain his trust is everything

Successfully rehabilitating a dog who's been through so much is a true talent.

Now that he won him over, that is going to be the most loyal dog he's ever had ❤ thank God he knew the dogs aggression was fear and worked with him. Too many wonderful dogs end up euthanized because they're scared. Its absolutely heart breaking. God bless this man and his boy Pablo

I love them both! What an awesome guy, to see the doggie's heart and need for love. Blessings.

What a great change in the dog. It's not the breed, it's what people do to the poor animals. That guy had the patience of a saint. Great job.

Of course it's the breed though. No different then it being hard to keep a water dog out of water or a hound away from scents.

Uh.. my friend got her dog as a newborn pup basically and it was terrified of men from the get go. Her dad was as nice as could be but he still hated him and any guy friends or boyfriend. And it was a little mixed breed dog. Some dogs are born more aggressive just by genetics

Nig Biscuit there is a reason why some breeds fit certain jobs better like hunting, herding, police work, etc. There are always exceptions too. The problem is that even a beloved family pet can snap. A pit, unfortunately is built to do a lot of damage if it does snap.

@Nig Biscuit Dogs snap for no reason. Check out the video of the woman doing the ice bucket challenge and suddenly the dogs maul her out of nowhere. Nobody was doing anything to him and then bam, he starts trying to rip her to pieces.

So sad that Pablo passed away yesterday from cancer😭 At least his mom and dad never gave up on him and gave him the best life they could give. I’ve been following his page on Instagram ever since I saw this video. Can’t believe that baby is gone😭 my heart goes out to his family❤️❤️

A big buff guy that treats his dog like his son and calls him daddy's little boy while he tries to bite him until he loves him. Enough wholesomeness for the next few months.

He overpowered and outlasted Pablo's fear with Love. Great job!

Omg I actually cried watching this...the love, devotion and persistentance he has shown that baby boy is just priceless❤️...I also rescued my dog who had been abused...amazing Guy whos now got a friend for life x

If humans could show that much love to each other instead of all the HATE, the world would be a better place!

Thats been played too many times to where people cant breathe without being accused of being a racist. Look up what IDIC means. That's what I believe. Ive been in the medical field teaching and serving so under a persons skin, besides subtle differences only trained eyes can see, we're all the g d same! I feel pity and love for this dog. I'm into cat rescue and the people who hurt animals for the hell of it, or just because, are the worst type of people! They take an innocent soul and taint it. It takes brave people like this man to teach them to love, so take that and spread your negativity elsewhere!!

Pitbulls used to be called the Nanny dogs....Petey the dog from the Little Rascals was a pitbull and he was more dangerous to the adults that might mess with the kids than to any of the children. Not everyone should own a pitbull. That is absolutely true. However, this story is a positive story about how one man got a fearful pittie to trust him. If you can't be amazed and happy about the transformation of the dog, then maybe you should keep comments like this to yourself.

I guess this beautiful dog has a trauma related bad experience in men,,its a great therapy to use man to overcome this trauma,,it might take some time to heal but now he is in good hands,,best of luck adorable sweetie ❤ 💋💋

No doubt, he was most likely abused by the previous man owner (s*um bag!) . This is a soft pitty, you could see that from the start despite his aggressive behavior of fear. Love him to the bits from my other side of the world.

My dog has the same thing but with teenage boys, especially if they're tall. We were told by the shelter that they found him as a puppy in the streets, so he was probably abused there by some boys... everytime he sees an unknown guy he starts getting all scared; at the beginning, right after we adopted him, he would shiver and hide. Now he usually barks or tries to hide. It's just sad to see, and sad and angering to know that there are people so cruel out there.

This is so true my sister got a hamster and DIDNT EVEN FEED IT. I had to feed it because she apparently “forgot” but no she was always playing with him. The hamster liked me a billion times more than her. It’s mine now

@@solascripturaPR1517 Yeah, a lot of time, your average life is like 80 years, a dog's life is like 15 years, 6 months is too long for almost 15 years of true love from an animal, right?... my dog was not so aggressive than this one when he was a baby, but he was aggresive too, but now he bring love to everyone, even people in the neighborhood knows him and they love my dog because he's so nice with everyone, even dogs and cats, my father hated him when he was a baby because how he was, now he loves him to death. Not amount of time is too much for that reward, a dog's love is worth it every single minute that you spend taking care of them.
