I enjoyed filming this stunning Ferrari 348 TB engaging in a spectacular drifting & powerslide style drive at Autodromo di Modena. At the wheel, Roberto Giovanardi, creator and founder of the UISP National Drifting School, whom I thank for the kindness, having granted me this onboard and advising for the editing of the final video. I think there's nothing to add about Roberto's technical skills; I certainly didn't expect to see this GT from the early 90s dance and brush the curbs in such a harmonious way. The Ferrari 348 is equipped with the 3.4-Liter Type F119 naturally aspirated V8 engine in the centre-rear position. It develops a power of 300hp at 7,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 324 Nm at 4,200 rpm. There's a 5-speed manual gearbox to move it, a self-locking differential and obviously, the traction is only on the rear wheels. With a weight of about 1,400Kg the performance is high with a shot from 0-100 Km/h in 5.6 seconds and a maximum speed of over 275 Km/h. Roberto organizes drift courses, and it's possible to buy the package that allows you to use the Ferrari for this kind of activity. Enjoy! 😉
Ho avuto il piacere di filmare questa splendida Ferrari 348 TB cimentarsi in una spettacolare guida in stile drifting & powerslide presso l'Autodromo di Modena. Al volante Roberto Giovanardi, ideatore e fondatore della Scuola Nazionale Drifting UISP che ringrazio per la gentilezza dimostrata nei miei confronti, nell'avermi concesso questo onboard oltre a consigliarmi per il montaggio del video finale. Sulla bravura ed abilità tecniche di Roberto penso non ci sia nulla da aggiungere, sicuramente non mi aspettavo di vedere questa GT dei primi anni 90 danzare e pennellare i cordoli in maniera così armoniosa. La Ferrari 348 è equipaggiata con il motore V8 aspirato Tipo F119 da 3.4-Litri in posizione centrale-posteriore. Sviluppa una potenza di 300cv a 7.200 giri/min ed una coppia massima di 324 Nm a 4.200 giri/min. A muoverlo ci pensa un cambio manuale a 5 rapporti, è presente un differenziale autobloccante ed ovviamente la trazione è alle sole ruote posteriori. Con un peso di circa 1.400Kg le prestazioni sono elevate con uno scatto da 0-100 Km/h in 5.6 secondi ed una velocità massima di oltre 275 Km/h. Roberto organizza corsi di drift ed è possibile acquistare il pacchetto che permette di impiegare la Ferrari per questo genere di attività. Buona visione! 😉

Great to see someone getting up to some proper action in a 348, that was what it’s intended for 👍 Also shows the many armchair ‘experts’ that the chassis is certainly exploitable, perhaps it just requires more effort and experience compared to other cars.

That's right, right words. I went to the owner, and I thanked him because finally there's someone who sometimes has fun and doesn't use a Ferrari only for the Sunday ride at 80Km/h... Certainly this car that is 30 years old doesn't always have to be driven in this way, but it's also correct, when you feel like it, to have fun. And as you can see, it's not a car that falls crazy; on the contrary, it felt pretty solid to me.

Er war halt leider etwas untermotorisiert, aber ich mochte den 348 auch schon immer.

@@ark9823 Aber 300PS geht schon, ist wie beim alten VW SP1 der war dann mal richtig untermotorisiert.
I love it when the wheels are in the opposite of the drift like that.

Yes, I know your thoughts, and you made me smile with this phrase 😄, come on, let's say it's not a dead horse; let's say it's a horse with years that perhaps should be pampered and not mistreated. Having said that, in my opinion, he behaved great; I didn't expect it 👍

Ho provato a sedermi nel posto di guida tempo fà, forse averi potuto farci un giro del isolato, ma non ci stò dentro... Leggenda narra che "Montezuma" defini la Ferrari 348 un cesso dopo che con la sua vettura personale, prese la paga a un semaforo da una golf GTì. Cmq è sempre una Ferrari!

Si, ricordo di aver letto da qualche parte quella storia...boh, credo ci sia poco di vero, la 348 ha sempre 300cv, a meno che quel Golf non fosse stato preparato bene 😉 Quindi da quel che ho capito sei molto alto, non ho la minima idea se quest'auto abbia un'abitacolo stretto oppure nella media.

@@Italiansupercarvideo Sono 1.88 cm per +90kg. Io credo possa essere abbastanza accessibile a una corporatura media ma per me purtroppo no. La storia della 348 di Montezemolo potrebbe avere un fondo di verità, ma a noi comuni mortali non è dato a sapere..

@@YuriBruschi Montezemolo non ha mai detto la verita ovvero che a quel semaforo affiancato alla golf parti' di seconda avendo la 348 il cambio rovesciato. Quindi il problema era Montezemolo non la 348

@@YuriBruschi I’m 1.90m, I fit just fine in a 348tb. Perhaps it was a 348ts, which has less headroom because of the detachable roof. I don’t quite fit in a 328, but that car is also more cramped and lower than the 348.

Diciamo che la 348 non aveva un buon telaio (così dicono in giro). Mettici 2 gomme posteriori Linglong da €20 l'una ed è subito drift 😅
