So here I show you where GAESA buys modern cars to South Korea and China, and why they don't buy only an ambulance for the black population: 1- (kzread.info/dash/bejne/m5d-z8aHhtqrn6g.html). More to come: (kzread.info/dash/bejne/rI6bqLGEZaW-j6g.html). All that remains is for you, the blacks who speak the most about racism in the world, to become Uncle Tom just like the black Cuban communists who murder and enslave their own brothers

Everything you've said as far as I've heard is just the opposite. You think you are going to the most miserable country in the world, where there are the least human rights in the world, where there is the most racism in the world, and the worst place to live in the world, and you think you know something about Cuba. Not a penny is invested in the welfare or benefit of Cubans, everything is used in State terrorism, especially against the black population, with the highest rate of black prisoners in the world by number of population. more than 100,000, in a country that does not reach 10 million inhabitants. If there is a lot of drugs, and stone in center Habana they and in the marginal neighborhoods. There is also extreme violence and firearms. It is no longer safe, they kill you for anything.

Being a doctor in Cuba is like being a teacher ... a public service, not a place to get rich ... because everyone deserves healthcare and to be educated (Cuba also has one of the highest literacy rates in the world 👍🏽).

Very true everyone deserves health care. However the cuban people receive no care. Not even balances...no meds at all no insulin nor anesthesia. Bare cupboards at pharmacy. You two need to do better research. Please tell me where you get your info...cause it's pure bull 1:58

Actually quite far from it. They are treated like prisoners in their own country and are not paid anything close to a living wage. I would know, my husband is a surgeon and his salary was about $35/month. No Cuban can provide for their family with that.. On top of that, most specialists and surgeons are regulated and cannot leave the country (essentially a no fly list) and it doesn't even matter if they have a visa or passport from another country. It takes years for them to get the same basic rights as a citizen in a half decent country. Cuba is beautiful, but you cannot have that opinion about their medical field if you haven't lived it, sorry.

@shellybellyluv Cubas economic turmoil is directly correlated to the colonial oppression America has inflicted upon them. 99% of the UN agrees that Cuba needs humanitarian and economic aid. Nothing is being done for them because of America. The government cannot provide suitable living conditions for their people because there is no money. They are not allowed to sell to nearly the entire world. What do you think, a doctor is gonna make 100k a year out of thin air? Who's supposed to foot his salary? Communism and the Cuban government are not the issue. Even JFK was willing to open talks with Castro and look at what they did to him and nobody has tried since.

Our Canadian banks cards function there. All of cell phones companies have interchange with ETECSA. There are many farmers markets where fresh, mostly organic due to the lack of fertilizers and pesticides, fruits and vegetables are available. The tobacco farmers must sell their tobacco NOT the rolled cigars to the government. Good work. Cheers from Canada.

I am from Canada as well, Cuba is very accessible to us. I really liked how sensitive and positive your vlog was and is a support to tourism in Cuba. All I see is people complaining about their travels in their vlogs about lack of amenities, but it's the attitude you bring that will make you enjoy a place.

Hi, my sweetheart and I love your videos! We are both in the “65 and over” age range and are about to travel to Cuba ( this time to Trinidad) for our second trip. We are both on a fixed income and your budget tips are very helpful. Thank you for that! I have 2 questions. Do you have any cautions about the water/ ice in cuba? I noticed the consumption of beverages with ice and veggies ( typically washed in the local water)in your videos. Also, you stated that an American can bring in cigars for personal use only. In June of 2022 we went to Vinales Valley, bought five cigars, but customs at Ft Lauderdale airport stopped us and confiscated the cigars. They said it is absolutely not permitted. Any thoughts?

Thank you so much for checking out our video and supporting our channel. I personally only drink bottled water so I did not have any issues. Now that I think about it I ate the vegetables however majority of them were pickled for preservation. There were not a lot of fresh produce. However, if i consume any it did not bother me during the trip. Also we brought about 10 cigars home and did not have any problems. That is my experience.

Hello, and thank you for the video. My wife and I just started looking into visiting Cuba a couple of days ago, and I am a little confused about a couple of things you mentioned. I am in contact with a Cuban tour company that has set up an itinerary for our visit, and they have hotels and restaurants included in the stay. You stated we cannot stay in hotels or eat at restaurants, but the tour has us doing both. They even bring you to two beaches, and say to bring your beach clothes, which means swimming while we are there. Is this video (your experience) for people traveling as individuals? Or are you saying even on scheduled tours, you cannot do these things? Thanks again, I'm going to watch your Everything You Need to Know video next.

I went to Cuba last May and stayed at a hotel in a resort and they did not have any shortcomings that you mentioned in the video. Food was in plenty and so was the wi-fi . There was only a shortage in butter and foreign liquor .So if you go for an "all inclusive stay " you are practically okay. However your video applies to the people who do not stay in these hotels and resorts but who travel on their own staying at air B&B's and also to the backpacking tourists. I noticed that most of the staff in the hotels were all dressed well in nice clothes when they were going home and I wondered from where they had all these nice shoes and handbags ! I don't think that they get all these from the tourists. Maybe they can buy them in the black market. So I guess there are some luxuries in Cuba. BTW if you guys are from the US how did you manage to go to Cuba as I thought that USA does not permit their citizens to go to Cuba ? Like to know about it .

The trade embargo includes a 180 day rule, which means any ship that has traded with Cuba, be it Canadian, Indian, Russian or Chinese, cannot enter an American port for 6 months, not even a fuel stop. This makes it very difficult logistically for any country to trade with Cuba. This is why Cuba has the highest freight prices in the world, which has significantly slowed the country's development and prevented mutually beneficial international trade. Their sugar industry has collapsed due to the difficulty of importing fertilizer. Before the revolution, hundreds of thousands of Cubans couldn't read or see a doctor and worked in conditions akin to slavery on sugar plantations owned by absentee American landlords. The entire country was essentially a Casino for rich American business men, where hungry people had to hike for miles on foot around golf courses and private land. Now, over 90% of Cubans own their home. They might not always have specific foods, but they always have food, they have some of the best medical outcomes in Latin America, they may be poor but they have dignity.

doctors are part of a major scale of intricate networks in the world 🌎 Currently, in any place you visit a doctor they will tell you they have a unique role, they are basically like a close person in your family. Presently, in places where Cuban doctors are, I do know from experience that they do have a lot of duties to perform as directed by the government. They don't have any sort of financial aid or can take any liberties, I know that much. Whatever services they are specilized in they get paid accordingly, however, they receive the bare minimum of what a McDonald's worker makes in a day. The main point is that although the system is bad. The Cuban government does have a major role in which they play their cards well and they pay for the education of their workers that being said medical students don't have to pay the government.
