I was just in Cuba for a full day trip w/my son. Everywhere I went, cabs, buying coffee, cigars, alcoholic drinks at various hotels and restaurants. ALL took U.S. dollars. I never had to buy their local currency.

This was 3 months ago, the exchange rate is different now. It’s going to continue to fluctuate. Find out the rate once you get there

Great question! You cannot pay with credit or debit cards,only cash. There is no Uber.

It depends on how you have projected your days. I say expect to spend $70/day, but that’s on a very active day, not including taxis because once they notice you are not from there, the price per rides go to a ridiculous amount

I have about $100us in CUC left over from my last trip to HAV jus before covid hit around Apr 2019. I was planning to go back this year & in updating my research found out that U can now only use CUP's as of DEC 2022. They said that CUC's are only great souvenirs now! Worthless!
