I bought a 2021 Polaris RZR 1000 XP4, and found it to be cheap and dangerous; but...I love my buggy. I have added: Shock Therapy sway bars and links, both front and back; and added their spring kit. I argue, both of these additions...on their own...were night and day performance differences; which means you can feel their difference...it's obvious. Moreover, the sway bars greatly reduce weight shift. The Polaris piggyback shocks....with the top "tender" spring...sucks. Walker Evans shocks suck...and yet Fox didn't get the contract on the new XP Pro!!!

You have engine lights coming on, did you put a tuner on this to adjust for all the engine parts and work that you did? Not the ecm's fault it's your fault.

Clearly this guy has never had an UTV before, much less a Polaris. Yes the springs are garbage and the Shock Therapy springs that he has are just about the best available. Your lean mixture and O2 sensor codes are probably the result of you're aftermarket inlet tubes and wastegate or a vacuum leak from a poor installation of them. A dent in the bottom of rock slider ? That's what they are for, to protect the rockers, get it over it.

1600 miles on my 21 Pro XP 4 Ultimate LE and solid as a rock. The only squeaks were the rear doors, and some tape on the strikers fixed that (every machine I have owned had squeaky doors). I asked the dealer to go over the unit with a fine tooth comb and make sure all the bolts were tight and ready to go. This is my 4th SXS, and I have driven many others as well. I am very happy with my purchase, glad I waited for a second year machine and not the first year. I bought the first year YXZ 2016, and had tons of issues with it. I have installed a bunch of accessories on my Pro without issue, roof, winch, Trinity exhaust, Powervision 3 tune, windshield, 32" tires, chase lights, etc. Just got back from a three day trip to Moab -- this thing runs great!! I have three buddies that have 2020 PRO 4 XP's and very happy with them as well. I spent many hours in a 2021 X3 this past spring in Moab, could not wait to get out of it. Visibility was way bad, clinks and clanks drove me nuts, the ergonomics of the cab left a lot to be desired, and my wife would have hated the passenger grab handle. It was fast, however.

I’ve had great luck with my Rzr pro, it rocks at everything from the mountain’s to the dunes to Moab but I have seen a lot of people get crappy Polaris machines and never buy another Polaris again, both snowmobiles and SXS’s and totally understand their frustration. Most of them go to Can-am and seem to have better luck. It will be interesting to see the long term review of the KRX, that seems to be the best Moab machine out of the box. It would be cool to see some car manufacturers take a swing at SXS’s or someone start building IFS ultra 4 type cars for a lot cheaper.

Ok Pete I came across your video because I too have a 2020 pro xp. So here is my two cents. The factory spring tenders are not very good. But they were not made to have all that extra weight added to the machine either. That's why they went bad faster than usual. Next, I just want to clear up that 15" rims and tires will NOT give you any extra height. You need taller tires. Factory tires are 30" tall. I put 32" tires on and did gain about an inch on the ride height. On so for exhaust. I run the exact same muffler on mine and I will tell you the stock exhaust is quieter under boost. But at idle they are the same. Also you more than likely are getting a lean code/ O2 code because you are running a more open exhaust. The factory one has a catalytic converter in it. All SXS's have rattles and cluncks that's normal. My machine has over 3000 miles and only issue I had was the clutch recall. Love the look of your machine and hate to hear the issues your having but I wanted to clear some of them up and what could be the reasons.

I know it's been a while since you've uploaded this but I am wondering how did that car handle after you replaced the springs? I'm asking that because looking closely at your rear crossovers one is much higher than the other. That will definitely affect the way the car handles when the springs are compressing and hitting those crossovers. I had to put tape on my door latches to, the rattles drove me nuts.

I have a 2021 pro xp premium, i will admit the springs go limp after 600 to 700 miles but that’s about the only thing i agree with you about. I also added shock therapy springs. You can find multiple videos on you tube on how to install them. I had watched enough videos to know to add more spring tension in the beginning so i only installed them once. Great product by the way. I bought a spring compressor from harbor freight tools for $35.00. Installation was not hard at all. Anybody that buys a RZR should understand this machine is like a lego car. You have to keep installing parts to make it the way you want it. I bought the RZR for $29,000 out the door and have added another $9,000 to make it awesome. I have a street legal kit on it and have 1100 miles on it with zero issues besides the springs. But don’t wait for the springs to go bad. Get those installed first. Sorry you have had so many issues. Signed having fun in the pacific NW

Intake tube is crap on the 2020 and collapsed because it’s rubber not plastic and was redesigned for 2021. The door hinges were also changed for 2021 and have a rubber insert to take the rattle out. Your lean fuel is because you can’t put an exhaust on it without changing the mapping. It’s normal for springs to settle.. never heard of 3 inches of settlement but either way you can adjust them without buying new ones. Fuel pump? Not sure. Everything else is just bitching about shit you did to yourself 😂.

Bigger rims dont give any lift just less tire sidewall. Mostly all of your problems were recalls for free even the door rattle I believe. Seems you have no idea on polaris common issues and are new to the SxS game. You didnt need to spend money on intake tube, the clutch, the charge tube. You wasted so much money ln what recalls would have been for free.

Hi Pete just came across your video I feel for you. I have a 2013 Polaris sportsman 850 xp esp bought extended warranty to at 800 or 900 miles motor ran like shit code was throttle stuck open can't remember the FMI code. Took to couple of dealers all gave me bullshit story that my vales where wear out bullshit one try telling my motor suck to much dust in also bullshit. They also would tell me my extended warranty does not cover that. I got so piss I bought it home and let it sit for about 6 month to a year . I'm also a auto body collision tech in Illinois so after some time I decide I got to try and fix it and no luck . I started looking around on Y tube and at that time one or two guys that had same problem posted read comment and found that one guy had this problem his fix was that the time gear on the crank had spun. What is that well Polaris in there infinite wisdom decide to press a timing gear on a crank with NO KEY nothing holding it to crank just friction fit. By this time because I got so up set and let it sit my warranty was over. I spent 2200.00 to fix myself I bought a new crank that was redesign by Polaris with the gear machine in to crank (part of the crank shaft solid) new vales, piston heads I decide to by a new head instead of have it machine. Motor was so out of time vales and piston where hitting. But here is my point the dealers no the problem but because of the extended warranty they don't get payed much because the warranty company tells them how labor time they can charge. So they lie to you so might be late but in your case don't call them take it to them and when they refuse to take it in tell them to get Polaris regional rep on phone them get his name , his boss name and be sure to get the dealer name out of there mouth . I wish I had done this I call Polaris to see if they would pay for the parts got NO OK I will not ever buy Polaris again . I get every machine you buy from who ever is going to have problems But for the price we pay for these machine we should not have to buy extended warranty it should come with a factory warranty for 2 years at least . Polaris having know of there fuck up should have help me but I got have nice day SO for you and everyone that reads this comment do not buy Polaris they will fuck you in ass and not even give you common courtesy for reach around .

My complaint has nothing to do with the aftermarket part but rather SPENDING 30,000.00 FOR A VEHICLE AND NOT EVEN HAVING 800 MILES ON IT - SPENDING 2,000.00 Plus ON AFTERMARKET PARTS TO MAKE IT TRAIL AND ROAD WORTHY! It was a pile of shit rattle bucket straight out of the box with JUNK PARTS that need replaced ASAP and your spending just as much money for something that is not even Street Legal and needs mechanical work done to it ASAP. !!!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

So you changed the exhaust (which also deleted your catalytic converter as there is a cat built into the factory muffler), & added aftermarket charge tubes & didn’t retune it. That right there explains your check engine light as it will undoubtedly throw a lean code if your running those mods on a stock tube & no of course warranty WILL NOT cover that as your aftermarket parts caused the problem.. Also, ALL long travel SxS’s have issues with the springs sagging. You will just have to readjust ride height a few times. Even with shock therapy springs you will still have to readjust ride height 1 time.. & FYI wheel size does nothing for ride height, tire size does though 😂!. 2020 models had clutch recalls due to the potential of them cracking & they also had a fuel pump recall..

Sad, very sad. Sold my sled with 440mi on it with same issues, replaced springs, replaced torsion springs, revalve shocks, it still rode like a POS compared to a stock xrs skidoo. My 2016 with 8k mi rides better then a brand new sled. Sad! Got the same dealer treatment out in middle of Maine when the handwarmers stopped working. Every dealer in a 150mi radius wouldn't do a 10min reflash on the computer for the "Smart" Warmers. Thats what Polaris called them. They were complete junk!

That new Jeep you and mini have with mods to it would be better than your 30 thousand dollar Polaris rzr. I have an 01 xj and trust me I have done way worse stuff in it already than you and mini have not modified much just a small lift on it bumper and skid plate with a winch. If I put 30 thousand into it it would have everything I want to do to it I am about 10 thou in. Another shocker for you I would not get any Jeep past 01.
