Hi, I’m a marketing student graduating college, and I plan to do D2C fashion in the future. I want to study fashion but maybe not as full length as you seem to, more of a short, comprehensive version to learn some of the skills, and process behind design but not so detailed as yours. I wanted to study (after I graduate) in Paris or Australia. Are you from Australia by any chance? If so, do you know any good fashion courses that I can take for 3 months to a year? Also, I’m open to going back to school to either study MBA or fashion but I’m leaning towards fashion since I feel to young to start and MBA. Do you know any fashion degrees or courses or certification that I can learn more of the basic skills that you do, that are 2 years (max) rather than the typical 4 years? I’m open to going back to school, but not for like a whole 4 year thing. Are there any great programs there (in Australia or where you are studying)?

goodness what an packed informative comment! First your never too young to start anything, whatever interests you keep pursuing it. However my video is dedicated to the general foundation of fashion as a whole considering its a huge topic varying on the specifics of the course one picks. If you aim to do a shorter course just for training, this can also depend on whether you are doing fashion theory, sewing practicals or work placement learning (more business focused). My advice is define 'what area' in fashion you are aiming to achieve whether its styling courses, industry based training courses, or practical sewing. Then select the type of course that offers exactly what you want fitting to your interest, THEN pick the destination e.g paris, aus, or UK. The country does not matter as much as the education offered. Keep in mind, central destinations that are popular for fashion such as nyc or paris, are great for the media and marketing side of fashion but have a higher compeition rate for students applying. Research everything, and good luck with your journey and all the best!
