I just got into this in Gamepass l30 at Kane mission. Didn’t know what showdowns were so glad for this. You seemed to sum up the paradox at the end. Once you have lvl 60 gear assuming it has 2-3 mod slots, making any other gear is kinda pointless. Not having something to gain from patrols is pretty dumb. All I can say is hopefully there’s a surge In play and it leads to new DLC.

The game needs more car chase Missions for the Batcycle to be relevant.

the grind is mad , u gotta spamm level 30 floor 24/7 if u want any legendary blueprints ... and once u got level 60 gear and mods, the open world is useless, the enemies are still lvl 42 as highest lol ... whoever came with the idea to keep the enemies such low level needs to be fired 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Dude tell me about it i I absolutely hate that I need to spam floor 30 it’s so bad honestly it’s just endless enemies until you need to do the objective then it’s get hit till it completes. It was fine after doing it 5 times now it’s annoying and monotonous

This sounds suspiciously like two in-game systems fighting each other. One system cleans up blueprints you're "never" going to use (since you can't just delete them, which would be the optimal solution) vs the system of in-game dropping the level of loot of the enemies which is 40. This cannot be the intended results and I imagine (aka *assume*) they will fix this ASAP. Although something like this, "ASAP" may not be very quick.

Very disappointing.

Nail on the head here sir. Can confirm floor level 30 drops 60 gear. But in turn it makes the open world part of the game pointless as a result. The rest of the game should absolutely scale to our new levels. Sucks that atm it doesn't but I feel like this is something they could fix in a patch fairly quickly with enough player demand. Def a crappy situation but the net positive here is that a lot of us WANT reasons to KEEP playing this game. Just falls on WB Montreal to actually listen to us and make the changes.

from what i understand lvl 30 HA doesnt even guarantee legendary drops for gear or mods.. u could suffer though multiple tries and not get a single thing at lvl 30 but epics lol. not doing that sir.. guess im stuck with my single set of gear and thats it

@@SunnySyde damn. you just saved me a massive headache by saying that. I was here thinking floor 30 would be the new farm. Albeit an annoying one. Well....not for suits I should clarify but more for mods. From what I've seen you can plug level 40 gear...preferably 4 slot pieces....with 58-60 mods and that alone would bump you up around 19-20 k power. So I was thinking maybe HA would be good for mod farming and Nth Metal farming if nothing else. To which...I had like 2k Nth Metal on floor 1. After clearing floor 30 I currently have 30k. So at least that part was lucrative.

the thing is, unless they release another difficulty, there's nothing to do with your 60 gear outside of the heroic assault. Not sure what the end goal of giving you gear this strong is......

Either they plan on releasing other high lv content or another difficultly for the base game. I can't imagine being this OP was the endgoal. And I hate that NW costume haha

They already made the game fuck itself with legendary equipment, it is too strong. Not only did they now give us even more insane gear, they nerfed hard difficulty health.. So we got like 2x buffs.

1st of all..i didnt even know about the showdowns lol. I just hopped straight into the heroic assault. Glad i watched this before i finished....I dont really mind about my old blueprints being deleted because im never gonna use them anyway considering how weak they are. I do wish they would have given us resources thou instead of just deleting them. I REALLY hope they fix this broken mechanic where the open world doesnt drop lvl 60 gear....the game doesnt need anymore bad press.....

if anything they should of made starro a boss fight like isn’t that what a four player mode is for the update is pretty good but man do we have some idiot people working at wb games things that are still missing 1. noting being able to fuse suits or gear to get upgraded 2. heroic gear is garbage and yet it’s a higher ranking than legendary 3. no heptic feed back and trigger 4. 3d audio 5. performance mode etc i seriously Hope SQKTJS isn’t a disappointment because if it is than us as gamers are eternally screwed with this dumb generation

@@xVoltsy From the gameplay Suicide Squad looks way different, plus different developer. So I expect it to be different for sure. But there are definitely very puzzling and frankly poor decisions being made on some of this stuff with the game. Mistakes happen, but why not address it to the community instead tweeting and promoting something that breaks the game.

Ok first of all that's really messed up. Sure sounds cool having lvl 60 gear but we need corresponding enemies to that level. One question tho. They said that new transmogs are available but im not sure what they look like or where to get them. Do you know that perhaps? Great video btw! Love your channel alot mate

Only thing would be aesthetic, cuz the transmogs are rarely the looks (mask/symbol/gloves/boots/colors) anyone wants. So keep weaker suits to have the look you want until you unlock a high powered version.

you are stuck with 1 single set and ONLY that set forever unless you grind level 30 Heroic Assault over and over and over and over.. but then even if you do that, where u going to use this gear.. the entire city is still level 42 max so its ridiculously easy. Im sure they will fix it at some point, but you dont put out an update that leaves the game in this sort of state.

…I beat talia last night solo at level 40. That was the worst designed boss fight in the game, her hit boxes are jank and you cant dodge a lot of her moves in the second phase. And now I have no blueprints. Which I’m happy about, but now I can’t craft lower level gear that I would like to use when I play with my friend who just got the game ;-; Also, I had blueprints for everyone other than my main that I hadn’t used yet.

This really seems like a non-issue. Wasn’t everybody mad that we had all these blueprints were never gunna use? Well it looks like they just added a way to clean up my blueprints log and I’m all for it. I craft any gear that I get that might be useful anyway. And if I’m rocking lvl 60 gear then I really could care less about lvl 40 stuff. Just hope we get either more lvl 60 gear in the open world or they keep raising the lvl by some other means.

ohh i am certainly all for blueprint cleanup BUT this (as of right now) limited this game by even more than previous. Once you complete showdown you are left with a single set of gear level 60 for each character and that is it. So where do you get the other 500+ pieces combined of different gear. Even if Starro dropped them every time you cant honestly want to do that over and over. and the activities dont drop them in the world. So whats the point of playing anything in the world when u have lvl 60 gear and cant get it there, makes everything even easier. And if you put on lvl 40 to just do activities to make it challenging then what was the point of getting level 60. They deleted all blueprints only to give u the same ones back in the world. The entire process doesnt make sense.

sure.. but the difference is you were increasing you level, getting new gear, until eventually u got lvl 40 gear.. cant do that here. ur just stuck with your 1 set of gear and that is all you get unless u play lvl 30 HA over and over.. and u arent even guaranteed legendaries in that

well now with the new update id just do showdown first and get level 60 gear and start the new content. BUT if u want to experience it like they intended i guess then do HA first.. id just be careful bc inventory space can max out quick with the blueprints.

Thanks for confirming. Not touching this unless this is patched. Clearly as you can get the lv 40 stuff again this was unintended. I don’t want the grinding to go to waste. I hate the red hood dead eye pistols, they are ugly and gigantic - can’t transmig items.

Glad you made a video on it I’m suffering with 1 blueprint and no variety. you need to spam floor 30 for lvl 60 gear it’s not the best method but the ONLY METHOD and I’m honestly already disgusted with the game. I grind to 30 thinking it would be more grind friendly ITS NOT. Literally floor 30 is just another transport mission with all the factions of enemies, and they endlessly respawn. RIP to me, my blueprints, and any build I thought I could ever make

was this problem ever patched? I just got the game this month and i haven't done the showdowns because i haven't beat the game just yet,and if so does it take your blueprints in general? Because ive been playin HA a lil bit

Tbh I purposely stay lvl 40 and have strong gear at that level while on hard difficulty to actually keep the open world relevant and enemies can still hurt especially if I’m not focused. It’s the only way not to be broken with the poor design choices of this.

No.. this video is from a past previous out of date update.. It no longer deletes blueprints, it no saves everything regardless of level.

this is no longer an issue.. no blueprints delete anymore.. what u have to worry about now is getting to your max of 300 blueprints.. once u get there you will no longer receive gear.

I don't mind the blueprints getting deleted but the fact that you can't get blueprints at a higher level in the city, wtf?! It makes no sense to grind those gear if you can't use them on patrols and be a superhero!

Not sure if you mentioned it...but it not only makes it unnecessary to play in open world once this happens...but it also makes it completely nonsensical if you ever plan to go back to the HA mode, because anything you DO get back (albeit at level 40) will again be deleted as soon as you eneter the HA lobby.🤦‍♂️ They just BROKE the game. Players can ONLY play HA mode and only ONE level (30th floor)...OR be stuck running thru open world with nothing new to collect and no real team mode🤷‍♂️

yes in all fairness, DEFINITELY yes. I did the Talia showdown first and it took a little experimentation on builds to find the right build for me to survive and defeat her. These items i crafted were specific to beating Talia but not ones that I ever used or intended to use before, therefore they were just sitting in my "blueprints" ready to be crafted when i needed them but I really liked. Which to me thats how it should be, you dont need everything no, but when u do, it better be there for you to get if you earned it. Then they just delete it all to make u start over without increasing the level cap. Not the smartest move IMO

yes.. but it turns out they just toggled the switch eternally to not delete anything.. so now this last run of heroic assault i did doing all floors 1-30 i picked up over 100 pieces of each gear piece that were below level 60. Now thats just going to sit there wasting space.

My blueprints were all deleted without acquiring this gear

@@anthonydeangelo8959 the only thing i can say is that you had level 27 blueprints.. when you went into heroic assault it deletes literally every blueprint that wouldnt be level 27.. so everything u got at level 26, 25, 24 etc would be gone.. it does that eventually anyways in the world but for some reason HA is glitched to where it deletes every blueprint below your highest

This mode is a disaster, not just because of the wonderful event of every blueprint you gathered being removed by and because new game boundaries and yolo, level 60 drops - only and exclusively happen during starro stage-, and ONLY AND EXCLUSIVELY drop from : a chest, only once defeated man bat, and IF this wonderfully generous rng devs implemented in the game, also wants to “gift” players something they don’t yet own (welcome back, glorious dupes), anyone can/ should/ must even feel lucky if gets an escalation item superior than level 50…. Also, what for… heroic assault beaten, you go back to the city and everyone around is still level ….40!! :D yeeeyyy!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen! We must expect nothing but wiping out does that no mo are suposed to be threats, but moths that get vented away by one shot of the new gear! :DDDD!!

I mean it’s not wierd or a glitch if you got legendary 60 gear it’s ten times better no matter what stats on it than level 40 so why would you wear any level 40 gear anyways?? The devs even said this would happen I’m the patch notes…it’s not a suprise and I’m failing to get why people would be pressed cause you aren’t using your level 40 gear over any level 60 gear unless you do what you’re doing.They could have made a better system but that would also be redundant cause again you’re never gonna wear level 40 gear over level 60 unless you want to be way weaker. I hope you can get every piece at level 60 otherwise that would be stupid that’s the only issue I’d have. Other than that it’s not that hard to understand lol

They should at least tell us so we can know to craft all the gear we want so we don’t lose it just to re grind it later

For fashion? build diversity? Customization stuff. you don't need lvl 60 gear if you're just messing around the city, and it would get boring being stuck with just one suit and kind of weapon. Even IF Starro gives you all the pieces at lvl 60 I would never wanna just grind that over and over and over again to get the gear pieces.

@@shlomiadania8646 well just grind for material and craft everything before you do the showdown so when the blueprints gets deleted you have them in your inventory as suits and weapons

@@SAINTSFANlife you were going to have to regrind that gear anyway. Lvl 40 gear won't work on higher levels. It obsolete

This game's spaghetti code is horrible.

completing showdown gets you a complete set of (suit,melee,range) for each character. they are all "new" in the sense it wasnt available on console before the update. its been in the game files which is how i already had it on pc and did some videos on it, but new for console players.
