One thing here that you proved which is great that I hadn't tested yet, was that enemies take increased damage from standard attacks from elemental weapons that they're weak too, you were fighting the mob that is weak to bioelectric and resistant to concussion which explains the different damage numbers

@@ExodusYTO all good :-).. hopefully the point was clear that power is really the most meaningless stat in the game and i think its the most obvious when i put on the 2 mods and it jumped from 800+ power to 2500+ and still had the same damage.

Power level affects your ability to stealth attack. If you are lower power level than enemy then you cant perform stealth attack on a particular enemy such as champions. I have a melee thats heroic and has 800 damage but i cant stealth attack the most wanted. I then changed to epic melee, it has higher power level but only 500 damage. I was able to stealth attack the most wanted. I had an idea about this when i unlocked showdown, it has power requirements, not level or damage. I only changed the suit, one that let me get past the power level requirement and one that dont. I get the right/decent damage when i meet the power level requirements.

interesting. so "power" can also have some kind of qualitative effect specifically "can you stealth attack - yes or no" that's interesting.

I always thought power was like a gear score. Doesn't make something more min max but just overall gear grade.

this is great. basically i am looking for dmg and crit dmg and crit chance, can ignore "power"for the most part, and also looking for the presence of an elemental dmg type which seems to add more than what the numbers are saying on the item. but this also depends on the traits of the enemies (weak to element X, resistant to element Y). Does anyone know, is all this true still 1 year later in december, 2023? great video thank you

so technically i can use level 13 items that has higher power / crit while im level 21? like some mentioned power = gearscore? so basically you just need to check items for power / additional stats and mod slots or am i wrong?

So power does nothing for ability damage also?

no.. you have have an item that has higher power but lower elemental damage than a lower power higher elemental damage bc of other stats on the items.. power is a very generalized rating to a gear piece that doesnt tell you any specific.

I’m still so confused. I’m not even sure if I’m having fun with this game. I don’t even know why I should combine my mods?

mods help with the gear.. but honestly the only reason to combine mods is bc there is no delete button and its the only way to get rid of lower tier mods.

i actually never do that.. i dont get gmw anymore either, that is just from clearing high level enemies.. i pretty much just do whats in the nth metal video.

What is "Grade 0/2" ? How does that work?

grade is just a little boost to the stats. just play with the item equipped and gain xp and it will increase the grade

the whole point of the video is that power doesnt mean anything, it doesnt do anything, and its stat is irrelevant and shouldnt be the measurement of quality gear.

Yea, power level means squat in this game really lol. Think of it like a "gating" tool if you're familiar with games like FFXIV.

yes, and definitely very misleading once u put on mods.. to just to 3300 or so just from mods when its is almost just as good as a 800 piece is dumb.

17mins long video and the conclusion is: Power is useless, and people should put priorities at Attack/Defense.

ive spent last couple days getting 12 crimes, then going to belfry then getting maybe 2 high crimes with no most wanted, so this morning i get a high crime with x1 most wanted , i kill then all leave x1 go back to lobby and start again to farm , done that x 5 now but ive not got a most wanted respawn once , is this normal ?

gmw never spawn for me anymore since i beat them all.. the high level enemies after looking closely at them are very similar to the gmw but they arent the same, each faction has them and drop nth metal for me.. they can also spawn on hard difficulty as well

My last gmw is provenance and he just won't bloody spawn anywhere ffs so annoying

Your analysis is flawed since the Mob is Resistant to Concussive Damage and weak to Bio-electric. You should have used Cryogenic and Incidiary or Toxic to get your numbers since those are neutral elemental weapons for their resistance class.

No, that was the point.. both items have the same power and did different damages. The whole idea of the video is showing that same power items do different damages or different power items do same damage and power isnt directly correlated to damage now I could of thrown in a neutral item as well and it would of again done different damage with same power. The first example I gave was just the reverse. Then lastly with the mods equipped. Whole point is power doesnt mean much.

Someone just needs to explain to me how the fuck I’m supposed to actually get strong. I’m at level 10 and only have 29 damage THIS IS FUCKING GAY
