ummmm you might want to tell your buddy that the red side of that clay mitt is not for washing. that material doesn't remove dirt etc like a microfiber wash mitt or the Adams wash pad would.

Hey Rush, the mustang looks great clean. I think everyone agrees saying it's time to ceramic coat the mustang.

I've had a few black vehicles and they are a pain to keep clean. But when clean they look awesome!

Nice informative video. I wash my own cars, I know it's a lot of work but I enjoy it lol. Please ask your friend if I can use that clay mitten on a matte finish paint; also what products does he recommends for matte finish. I have a foam cannon that attaches to my garden hose and it works great, and I use microfiber wash mittens and towels. By the way nice GT, we have 2017 GT in the family White Platinum with black roof and wheels already modified :))

Great video but man some things hurt to see. Always always wash the car with a proper mitt and not the clay mitt (the backside of the clay mitt is not meant for washing) then use the clay mitt after all bigger contaminates are off the paint, that mitt was more or less just rubbing the dirt into the paint instead of actually lifting it off the paint like a wool mitt or a microfiber.

what was used in the video was an electric pressure washer and a snub nose sprayer. the snub nose sprayer is on Adams Polishes website and the pressure washer you can get there as well or your local Home Depot etc

the red side of that mitt is definitely not for washing the vehicle lol. I've seen some of those videos you're talking about as well. it's weird, I've never had an issue with it. one of the videos I saw though, it was being used all wrong. he sprayed the sealant on and immediately used strip wash. that's not what it's meant for. it's meant to remove any leftover protection, so when you go to apply a new layer it bonds better.

I saw a few questionable things myself, but nothing major. The car is still pretty new and garage kept, so he should be okay if he's ceramic coating it. As long as it's done by a REAL professional, not someone "considered", to be a professional.

Yellow tip is too high for that far. Soft wash tip for delicate materials like the body and the glass. I used to detail and i wash houses now. The method is all detailing ie washing windows is with a soft wash tip.

i own a mobile detail business and honestly thee very first thing you should do if your able to afford it ceramic coat the vehicle when you pick up or get your vehicle delivered or atleast clear bra the front end your mirrors front part of roof. again if you can afford to do so.

Oh God Please Please do not wash the car with the opposite side of that wash mitt, it’s not designed to wash the paint, use a proper 2 bucket method or whatever method you like then do some form of chemical decontamination then clay the vehicle. If anything you probably marred the paint a little. Then follow up with polishing or some type of protection. I have the same year same color Mustang GT and that paint is really easy to scratch or mar.

Andres Vega Uh hey bud, this specific clay mitt is designed to be used before you paint correct your car. This clay mitt is medium grade so it’s going to cover a lot more area in less time, it’s mainly meant if you’re detailing multiple cars (which most detailers do if you’re good at your job). Saves more time if you’re going to end up correcting the paint anyways. If you’re detailing just for yourself, then stick with the Visco Elastic Clay from Adams Polishes or any clay bar with a reputable brand behind it.

NOOOOO. you did the process wrong. you don't wash with existing foam still on car, you are just rubbing the dirt in and scratching you dope ! ! ! And when are you going to polish it after butchering the paint???
