I do not have any problems with them. The only con I can think about is the potential of dropping them and damaging them, however, only maniacs throw their weight on the ground. I cringe every time i see someone at the gym slamming the weights. If that is you, I would not get these dumbbells. Otherwise, they are a good choice imo.

Although there are some "knockoffs" out there, there are several companies authorized as "resellers" that sell the original, genuine product. I think the one you put the "scam" arrow on (on your thumbnail pic) is probably a fake copy. The one you "spelled out" is legit. They just have the resellers name engraved on the outside plates. The manufacturer lists the authorized resellers on their website. You can also buy them from the manufacturer, itself. P.S. Do yourself a favor and buy the two legged stand. It is very sturdy, and will make your life a lot easier!

Ahh, I see. It’s crazy how close the fakes look to the “real” nuobells. I do wonder if the quality is different, and if so, by how much? KZread is weird about mentioning links and such, but not brands. Thank you for your input!
