The investigations regarding the cause and safety breaches of the construction of the building is still actively being investigated by police and inspectors. No one is yet held accountable for what happened. Just keep your ears and eyes out for any updates on the case. This is still ongoing and personally feel that this disaster opened a pandoras box for many involved.

Rather thank God that they are still around. No need to be nasty to the rescuers because you do not like what they represent in your views. They are heroes and will always be to those who they have saved from certain death.

what do you mean cyril is 71 zuma 82 and still busy with politics let alone many others.There was even an issue about most teachers being over 50 and in some cases people wanted retirees back to teach skills to youth. SA studies showed that many SA no longer can retire at 65 so forget about retiring in this failed economy. Id rather have a 70year old IT guy who can program than a 30%r thinking he deserves a raise working overtime once to fix his own mistakes... study shows only 6% can afford retirement.

Painful attitude. A private development. To be honest, I would hate to think how this rescue would play out if it was KZN or Gauteng.
