My Ipad pro is acting as a Hub with Homekit.

Galaxy quick pair definitely won't be used nefariously by hackers

I agree, hackers are the best at respecting peoples privacy. 😅🤣😂 I crack myself up.

It’s funny how it works they all saying, well technology is so simple to use this days all you have to do have internet , wi fi and smart devices you buy from us, you buy those smart devices of course it doesn’t work and then you here from this companies well it’s not that simple.

Matter is suppose to solve a lot of that. Buy from any company that has Matter certified products and it should work.

Why can't smart things fully support its own Samsung ASHP. All I can do in smart things us turn it on and off and check it's consumption. What about all the settings temperature flows in and out and its average COP over time. Come on guys its time to get these Heat pumps into the 21st Century. If you are unable to write this app why not open up the logic for third parties like Drayton Wiser home heating App.

I couldn't find an use to the so called Smart Hub in my TV and Home Theater, it even don't work with my Samsung galaxy phone and, that's amazing, everyone I talk to has the same problem. Sorry if I don't believe in Matter being the magical solution.

It has great potential. At this point it levels the playing field for all "smart" item manufacturers. It will continue to work until one of the big boys decides to take their ball home because they got butt hurt and either fork the program or make a proprietary standard.

SmartThings is useless after the removal of CoRe ! also not be able to use groovy handler.. 80% of my house is no longer working.

Smartthings, the cancer in connecting devices ..... I mean trying to connect ...... the guy or gal developing this app needs to be fired immediately .....

Yesss..... another addition to an app on devices to open more of the home up for hackers, make people more lazy and more bloatware on the phones to take up more memory like they're not limited. Not a fan of stuff being loaded onto these devices. People pay enough for them and the only thing that should be on them should be the program software! If they want the extra stuff then they know where the app stores are to download them themselves!

What are you talking about? Matter is not an app, it’s a protocol built into smart devices. That’s the deal, to get rid of blotware apps from all the manufacturers and use just one app to control all the smart devices. And how a protocol will make people more lazy?
