All very worrying indeed. As far as I have understood it the board willingly declined an existing financing option that would have kept the company going; therefore failing its main purpose of representing the interest of all share holders. Obviously we will never know all details there and investments are never an assured thing but to the me this sounds like the board ransacked its shareholder base. While I wish for Fanatecs support and delivery situation to improve a StaRUG would probably include cuts on personell, product portfolio and stock quantities. The shareholder base probably has a lot of ties in Fanatecs current work force as well. I feel the situation will get a lot worse in the short term

I'm mostly interested in Fanatec upgrade for my family wheel and pedalset, because it works on my PS5 and PC. It's good to see Cosair stepping in after this strange financial mess. Hopefully 🤞🏻 the brand will still exist and the prices are still low enough and quality still there. We need more competition in this market so it's good Fanatec stays.

This is great news to me. I took a big risk this week while being fully aware of the situation. I had major concerns, but believed the end result would be Fanatec surviving. I just purchased the Clubsport DD this past Sunday. It arrived at my door Wednesday. I found it interesting that my past orders all came out of. California. This order shipping originated in Dallas Texas. So 3 business days from order to my door. I am stoked about that.

I think it's a great move from Corsair. They can see what a strong brand and product Fanatec have.

Moza need to step up now, fab products, they really need to get console compatability sorted, Playstation i'm thinking of, they could really take off.

Thats what ive been saying. As a ps user its been a headache deciding on what DD wheel is “worth” it. If moza dropped a nice compatible wheel it’d make my choice a lot easier

This is the best outcome corsair has so far made every buy they made better like elgaot etc. But it will still be called fanstec from what corsair ceo stated. They want to keep employees and keep providing for the consumers they have already. So all positive things.

I'm trying to decide between trying to get a Fanatec DD Pro now, or waiting to see what they come up with with Corsair. Thoughts?

Becuase they were the big boys for a long period now. But, now there are other manufacturers now creating great wheel setups, like MOZA, at a lower cost!! It's business!!!

I genuinely think Moza has spooked all the established sim hardware manufacturers.

Ive been using my CSL Elete complete with Xbox wheel and PS wheel for many years. I hope Fanatec can survive this. Long time satisfide customer.

One of the best perks. Being able to use the setup on all platforms.

While i think that overall this is what the company needs id agree that the way its happening is very unfortunate essentially robning shareholders when a similar offer has heen presented to both keep the company running and keep the shareholders interests by its former ceo. Forcing starug for a company that is still profitable even though its not in the best shape is a money grab by current magement

Have you not seen how many real life racing series they sponsor and how many banners they have in pretty much every sim racing game, let’s not forget the go kart track on the roof of head office. The mark up on their entry level DD bases is wafer thin and they need to hike those prices immediately! Corsair will take them to the next level and get products into stores! Thomas created a great company, but he’s proven it’s gotten to big for him to manage.

Corsair already own Elgato. They are spreading their gaming influence into sim racing. Hopefully their support is a lot better than Fanatec.

Fanatec only have themselves to blame really. Too busy sponsoring too many real world events. Neglecting their customer base and ultimately no new products! Let’s hope this deal goes through and the Fanatec brand lives on!

I'm sure Corsairs input will see alot of changes, possibly even getting Fanatec products into physical stores across the world.

Do you think fanatec just went to far with there products and then over stretched themselves, also the gaming boom is now over . COVID has come and gone so people are not buying these kind of products as much as they was , plus now there are more variants i.e moza , simgagic etc etc .

I know that pre-selling is a way to earn funding, but if you can't produce the amount you pre-sold, it comes back to haunt you. Then ghost your customers when they contact you makes matters worse. I would wonder if the Fanatec name will be tarnished after all this and it would be better for Corsair to rebrand it.
