Ce que j'ai remarqué chez toi par rapport a beaucoup d'autres apprenants, c'est que même au début de ton apprentissage tu étais capable de reproduire la bonne prononciation des mots. Le fait que tu sois passionné de musique a dû bien aider à aiguiser ton écoute. Et l’écoute, être capable de reconnaitre les sons est quelque chose de très important!

This is really inspiring. I have been learning French on and off for years and was judged at an A2 level. Amazing to see the progress. I feel fired up to keep learning and setting some goals.

girl absolutely i feel so much pride for you and i don't even know you. The way you were not just able to speak french super well in the end but also able to communicate ur feelings in a way that's so native!! I noticed from the beginning already that you have the habits of a native speaker (no wonder you got 25/25 on pronunciation), this is something really difficult to not just get the accent right but also the ways of speaking and small habits that come with this, certainly something you have to be intelligent for!! I want to better my french as well. It's my native language yet i'm loosing it day by day since i grew up in the netherlands and my mom and i nearly only speak dutch together. really sad.. i wish to reconnect with my mother tongue again!

This is both inspiring and intimidating! I've been studying French on and off for years, and while my listening/reading comprehension is probably around a B2 level, my speaking skills are... very bad. I'm visiting France and Switzerland later this year and I'm determined to at least be able to function at restaurants, public transportation, asking for directions, etc.

Your a2 is sooo impressive. I was fluent in French as a child because I lived in France and you sounded better than me now. Very cool. I’m trying to learn Spanish now and knowing French bits and bobs helps so much

Tu as un super sourire, tu dégages la joie et la douceur. Je te félicite pour encore une fois pour cet accomplissement. Apprendre une langue est difficile. Le français est un peu plus difficile que l'anglais et les autres langues latines, (espagnol, italien, portuguais, roumain). Une fois en immersion totale à Paris, si tu sors de chez toi, en 1 an tu seras très confortable en français. Merci pour ta vidéo!! :)

I saw a recent video of you this morning and I was like wow how beautiful her French is and now I'm watching this video of your progress and thinking is it really possible to get this much progress in just a.ouplw of years.. I mean even your voice and interjections sont devenues française oh la la.. J'ai obtenu le DELF B2 l'année dernière et j'ai passé le DALF C1 ce mars mais je l'ai échoué -oui c'est dommage. Pour me faire remotiver a persévérer, j'ai consulte en ligne et j'ai trouve cette chaine. Je trouve que Alice est très douée en langue, c'est peut-être parce qu'elle soit compositrice. Et même au niveau du A2, elle a déjà pris de l'accent français. Ce vidéo m'a beaucoup inspiré a continuer la langue française. Merci mille fois!

This was so cool to watch! might be two years late but for the last 2 yrs ive been learning French and I do not speak like you haha. j'ai pris le DELF B2 il y a 5 ans et je pense que mon niveau de français a stagné ou même baissé (surtout à l'oral) car je n'avais pas beaucoup d'opportunités à pratiquer la langue étant donné que je ne vis pas dans un pays francophone. Je pense que je vais faire des petits enregistrements comme ça afin de mesurer mon progrès, et je veux vraiment prendre le C1 dans les quelques prochaines années....

Thanks Gary. 100% - I did both Build a Strong Core and Raconte ton histoire. Only thing is, I found I needed to keep up my creative side on my own (ie. talking to self, making videos, writing things) otherwise you risk getting great at comprehension but not so much at speaking/writing.

Thank you for this video. I'm probably about an A2 speaking and maybe B1 reading. I just got to Québec City for five months. At the start of this video, you mentioned talking to people in the streets. I'm hoping to try that. I'm thinking of making a sign that says: "Je vous donnerai 10 dollars si vous me parlez en français pendant 15 minutes. J'essaie d'apprendre." And I'll go sit in a crowded area by the street. Hopefully some people will be willing to do that. I just need practice. Not sure what else to do because the interaction in stores and restaurants is limited.

Aw that's such a sweet idea. I'd also check out language exchange groups on MeetUp and Facebook. You might find people wanting to work on their English with you. Granted, less likely in Canada than France, but still.
