Such vulgar language, Is it really necessary. Until we can communicate like intelligent human beings we will never find peace amongst ourselves. None of this has anything to do with sex. What's the difference between Vladmir Putin and Fidel Castro?

Reading the hateful comments against speakers exercising their constitutional right to express their opinions makes me think that this country, now so intensely and overtly divided, is doomed. We are rushing madly to the total destruction of free political dialogue, when virulent insults replace actual discussion however heated it may be.

Commies and murderers like she shall be put into jail. Not to be allowed some „political dialogue“ when these people are those who are against result of democratic elections and thus, against opinion of the others. Please, just google who Angela Davis is. If this is the one you admit, then you support terrorism, not political dialogue. Radical communists like Davis were always agains any other opinions, freedom and dialogue. As a man from former communist Czechoslovakia, where many of our citizens were killed, tortured or put into jail or gulag (even my distant relative - for nothing) by communist regime, I think I have a full right to express my hate against commies.

Zhu -- Understandable your sentiment because of your personal experience. I think that in our current political climate people have become so polarized that even when there is common ground (and there is ALWAYS common ground) people are quick to see the differences only and to put on battle gear to engage in a vicious fight. That is not what America is about, although our Civil War is a major indication that we are capable of some horrific atrocities. My question in all this is "Who are the healers that can bring people together?" THAT is the challenge for enlightened leadership and sadly our country has become a place where so-called leaders (the rhetoric of political campaigns notwithstanding) do not represent everyone.

+Lassie -- I appreciate your comment. I know that you and I are not the only ones who believe in something better than the despicable language that is used to inflict as much damage as possible. Where did these people learn to hate on such an animalistic level? Have we lost the once-standard training from Mom and Dad and Sunday school to get past the reptilian brain so we can operate from the higher centers of the brain? Maybe it is in fact all the years of gratuitous violence on television that have corroded the souls of our citizens, turning them into blood lust warriors. All the hateful rhetoric is not going to fix anything.

Noe Berengena I honestly believe that these hate filled comments come from cowards hidden behind a computer screen. I doubt 1% would have the courage to say these things in person. I just wish we could put the hate aside and unite as one. No matter our political beliefs, as human beings we have much more in common than not.

I've had a picture of Angela on my wall now for about 5 years and after seeing this it's coming down. I love what Angela stood for in the 60's. Her work for equal rights and her affiliation with our Black Panther Party and her views on life even when they called her a Communist!!! Communist, thats a word used to discredit ones idea on a better world yet why would she use this venue to speak on the Dakota Pipeline? Don't get me wrong.. she can speak about what ever she feels... but when we have poverty, discrimination, and or people dying in the streets due to a vast spiritual misunderstanding of our human collective.. it leads me to wonder exactually what is her agenda? And does she honestly think that a rally is going to stop Corporate America from making it's oil money from Standing Rock? The Womans March was a wasted opportunity in my eye's because you all should have stormed the White House and demanded CHANGE!!!! As if they where gonna release the dogs, bullets and firehoses on that many women in the U.S. and televise it!!! Instead of grandstanding and ego's, this was your one chance to make men wake up and think about the world weve created for us to live in!!! The world would be a messed up place without women, but ya'll BLEW IT!!!

On August 5, 1970, Angela Davis purchase three guns including a shotgun. On August 7, 1970, seventeen year old Jonathan Jackson brought a satchel containing those three three guns, into the Marin County Hall of Justice, where Judge Haley was presiding over the trial of San Quentin inmate James McClain. Once inside, Jackson drew an automatic gun, and, aided by McClain and Black Panther inmates Ruchell Magee and William A. Christmas, took Judge Haley as well as Deputy District Attorney Gary Thomas and three female jurors hostage. Jackson and the other kidnappers fled with the hostages. Responding police fired on the van that Jackson was driving. During the shootout, Jonathan Jackson, inmate Christmas, inmate McClain, and judge Haley were killed, while inmate Magee and attorney Thomas were seriously injured. Angela Davis has maintained that she had no idea how the guns came to be used in the kidnapping. Angela had also been in communication with Jonathan Jackson's brother a prisoner that Jonathan requested be released during the kidnapping.

I know many African Americans that could vote, but choose not to vote. Now they want to act the fool. If they had come out and voted this would not be going on. Also, in Florida there were a lot of Latino and Hispanics that voted Trump, because of Marc Rubio. So, I have no sympathy for them.
