I love when the crowd realized this dog was greased lightning right outta the gate. You can hear the audible and escalating gasps as Fame flawlessly bolted over the first five gates with perfect control. Just awesome.

I've heard from people that have had border collies that they're like that. Completely wired and ready to go, but once they're given a task, they have the amazing ability to focus on nothing else and channel their energy into completing that task.

@@mish375 yes, they’re actually incredible problem solvers. You send one out to bring in a herd of sheep and if one’s way out to pasture on its own, it’ll know to break out and drive that loner into the group first before bringing the whole herd in. Just next level stuff.

So awesome. Fame has no idea that she's a champion. All she knows is that she had a fun time and her master is her best, most trustworthy friend. She'd be just as happy if she placed last. I love dogs.

1:03 Look at those eyes. Total focus. The look of a total competitor.

It was so cute when Fame licked the reporter. Such a happy and energetic puppy who saw running the course as play. She was excited to get out there and do her thing. When I have the means to, I plan on adopting a border collie because they're so cute, fluffy, smart, loving, and protective. They also have the most adorable barks.

We lost our Border Collie Abbie a few weeks ago shortly after her tenth birthday. She battled Cushings disease the last two years of her life. She did not lose her spirit and happiness the entire time of her sickness even in her final hour. Border Collies are some of the sweetest dogs and we are looking forward to the next one!

I second that. I've had border collies for 15 years (in addition to other breeds)... they are indeed unusually sweet and always happy and ready for fun.

We had to put our Border Collie, Oscar down because he had cancer and had a whole amount of pain. I miss him so bad. ♡ ☆Border Collies are amazing dogs☆

I could watch this all day

My collie always amazed me at how much ground he could cover without appearing to move that quickly and how utterly outmatched any dog that tried to chase him was. We climb munros and unless its a hot day he barely even pants. They are beautiful and graceful machines with human emotions and moods.

My border collie and I were at a country fair, we live in the city.. There was a dog competition for Collies and we entered for fun - he came second even though had none of the training the others had. Afterwards, he acted like a super star for weeks ha ha. Their intelligence is off the charts and a constant surprise

Border Collies are the Bomb!!! Lightening speed too. Crushed the time⏰

What I found amazing is that at first you kinda see the 'warmup' when Fame seems quite unruly, like crazy and 'full of beans'. Then comes the time when he joins the starting blocks where, like a champion, he gets focused on the upcoming race and then, he releases all his energy at the speed of light! What a race! he absolutely killed it!... Even if I have a slight personal preference for Golden retrievers and Rough (scottish) Colley (lassie), Border Collies are really an awesome breed especially when it comes to speed and agility!

I GOT GOOSEBUMPS SINCE THE FIRST SECOND FAME STARTED RUNNING OMG

Border Collies are my favorite dog breed for this reason, they are very smart and masters at being agile.

Sue Bricker Where was it run? My sister-in-law Renee runs a border collie Scram. They were on the world team last year and are in some competition in France this weekend. I'm assuming you compete in agility.
