Looks actually is nothing to fuss about, especially this game, it's just a minor downgrade compared to most games. What matters is, "Can you actually do ALL of what he did in the game?" That's what's important.

Uh mostly. The way it works out is mostly identical. But the rain effects and general HUD and overlay are different in the final version. Plus T-Bone and Aiden don't kill fixers coming from a Muscle car, T-Bone steals a Prius and makes a run for it.

Not only the graphics, but bunch of things on the gameplay... Where in the game are you gonna be able to raise your hands in front of the police and turn off all of the lights? In the game if the police see you they shoot you without taking a little time to think Also in the 2012 e3 they show a nice kill, Aiden slice over a car and in the same time he shoots at one of bad guys, any of those things are in the game.. I'm not saying the game is bad, because I like it, but it isn't what the promised

Thats exactly what I would do. I'd find the info, and spend every second I could tearing apart electronics, I'd bring a backpack with 4 slots/pouches/whatever, all of them padded with memory foam, and I'd jack the mobos w/ the CPU and the GPU separately. I got this all figured out.

It wasn't just the graphics, the animations on are so smooth, especially on the NPCs, just specifically made for the trailers.

Why did people hate this game so much? Yes there were the graphic problems, Aden could have been a little more interesting and the story wasn't the best, but overall a great game. I'd give it an 8/10. And if you watch some of the later developer commentaries the graphics are the exact same as what you get. And no one hated it then.

It was because of all the money EA wasted, all the time they wasted, all the advertisements wasted, all the customers they took advantage of. There were thousands of simple mistakes; the entire E3 presentation was a facade. The concept is vaguely interesting, the story was forced, and with a $70 million budget, they couldn't even optimize urban draw distances on high-end, stacked PCs. I'm not telling you to dislike it, but I will assure you that what EA released as "Watch Dogs" was nothing more than a pre-alpha stage, Hollywood, Grand Theft Auto knockoff with another $59.99 pricetag. Standard Electronic Arts procedure.

Looking at it in 2019 and I am so ashamed I got the dedsec edition. Last time since I pre-ordered a game. I still loved Watch dogs 2 cause there was no extra hype so that great atleast

It's weird that the generation of consoles ended the way it started... A hyped game that it was considered the second coming of Christ but managed to disappoint everyone...

Does anybody know when this new trailer of watch dogs will be uploaded by ubisoft as it's going to reveal the release date for it ?

this news broke on 26th feb but as of yet there is no such trailer nor any release date confirmation

If the final game looks like this ill be happy. I mean these graphics arent as good as the E3 2012 graphics but these graphics are DEFINITELY better than those that were shown on the newest story trailer. The graphics on this gameplay demo are certainly good enough though. According to the devs this is shown on PS4 and so is what the game should look like.

They said if it is running on a high end PC it will look how it did at E3 2012. This is running on a PS4 however.

Well i got news for you

By the way, just so its out there, both of the E3 demos of Watch Dogs were run on two GTX 650 running a SLI, even most PCs don't do that, because the power supply would cost as much as an apple product, and the PC would basically be a massive heater.

(I saw you apolagize after i typed this out and i found it a waste to hit backspace on it, so im still gona post it.) Ok first, the Gtx 650 is the lowest end gpu you can get for gaming (even at the time of e3 2012), secondly a psu doesnt cost much at all and even the most high end rigs dont take much power (600W to power a triple gtx 970 setup and a 80+ Platinum psu of 600w will cost 165$, and most people dont even run triple 970) so no, you didnt do your research at all.

in the real game the cop says freeze then they blow your head of there's no fake surrender.

You have to have 1 star BUT one thing people miss is that you can't be passed act 4 mission 2

The music where the police chase begins is like the act 4/5 chase music

The Witcher 3 just suffered the same downgrade.

Peligrazo I don't know I am playing it now and my PC can barely only run it at medium so I cannot complain. The content is the best out there and the side quests put most other games main stories to shame.

Personally I think the witcher 3's downgrade is way less than the downgrade watch dogs suffered

About36GREEKS Exactly, and the pc day one patch actually upped the graphics quality by a bit, unlike the console versions day one patch, which downgraded them even further xd

wait is the whole "recieve help" an actual feature in the game or was it removed? I would want to recieve help in police evasion.

This demo was ahead of its time... it's Watch Dogs Legion but in 2013

So stylo! build my own pc soon after seeing the recommended settings to play watch dogs..

My his game was suppose to come out in November 2013 but it got delayed to April 2014 an I saw on selling retailers that it'll come on June? Is that original new date or is there a new one?

Comparing CP2077 downgradge to This ?....This is really tame. It's just the Visual...Everything else from the content and gameplay is still there as promised and plays just like E3. It's the opposite for CP2077.

right, you get it. The content and gameplay was there, but back then people didn't look past the graphic effects downgrade. Cyberpunk was definitely worse than this

What did I just WATCH!!! This game looks amazing..

2:07 in the Final version the Gate is no more there :O

I wish they would bring back the idea of the app for legion or something, that’s a really cool idea being able to help a player from your phone

I've seen new Robocop and his vision abilities (specially part when he tracks suspect on his bike) looks nearly same like here in WD ! Wonder if its coincidence ...

Might get this for Wii U when it comes out. not sure.

This trailer alone had more pixels than the entire game.
