She ruined an otherwise solid interview by lending her legitimacy to absurd partisan attacks. It’s extremely unprofessional journalism to adopt as serious insinuations for which no evidence exists other than being strategically deployed by rivals to exploit crude stereotypes and prejudices. Old people are not senile. Gay people are not pedophiles. Women are not sexual harlots. Liberals are not snowflake socialists. It’s incredible that anyone takes as serious what Republicans say.

@@williamrapp9823 in the UK (where I am) it’s definitely a thing some journalists, army officers, civil servants and judges choose to do. It’s not required here, obviously, but certain types of public servant here are required to remain entirely neutral in public. My Dad is a retired judge, and chose to keep voting once he became one, but he was obligated to not disclose his political leanings to anyone outside family, and to stop giving any monetary support to any political party or organisation. Hes the former director of the CIA. According to Pompeo their motto is "We lie, We cheat, We steal." how can you trust anything coming out of the mouth of this man... To do the job he did, you have to not care about morality, how otherwise could you possible be a good leader of such an organization... In my opinion, these are the people with no moral values at all, or at the minimum he can easily put principles and moral values aside so he can do his job which is to lie cheat, steal and kill... That's all the CIA does.... If you would care to listen to both sides you would easily see he's lying right now... But people don't do this, they will only listen to one side and then believe the understand what's going on.. That's not how the world works, if you want to understand anything, you always listen to both sides, Westerners don't seem to get this logic... I can't really blame you, they banned the other side, to prefend people from listening to Russia.. It's much easier to indoctrinate people, when you don't give them the chance to listen to other point of views... You see how brainwashing and manipulating works, it's very easy... If you truly had freedom of press, you would be able to listen to Russian media, but you don't have that freedom...

The citizens of that country have already lived under Russian government and majority of them opposed falling under Russian boot again. They would join EU sooner or later anyway and only NATO membership would guarantee their safety - Putin broke literally every treaty with Ukraine. Although thousands have died already and more will die, in longer perspective this war will only strenghten Ukrainian people. Maybe it was needed to make them completely disillusioned about their fate when their country would be again in a sphere or Russian influence. Joe Biden was the youngest U.S. senator ever elected at age 30. He served in the senate for 36 years. He is an expert on foreign and domestic policy. His leadership in the Ukraine war has been superb. Regardless of your politics, his domestic accomplishments in less than two years has rarely been matched. Trump talked about an infrastructure bill for 4 years, one that was decades overdue. Biden delivered one and he did it with a 50/50 senate. America is America, in part, because we have a civilian run government. Eisenhower was a rare exception. Great generals and great CEOs don’t tend to be very good political leaders. It’s a different skill set (yes, of course there are some similarities).

because our political system revolves around money raising, and who can withstand the withering media scrutiny. As a result, only those with huge egos (and arguably less brain matter) get selected. Most rational people would never subject themselves and their families to the horrors of running for office.

Please don't compare this guy to President Eisenhower, ever again. Eisenhower gave one of the most consequential and critical speeches about the United States at the end of his presidency. He conducted major campaigns during WWII. He was the real deal and a true patriot. Petraeus doesn't have that kind of backbone. Many soldiers who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan don't have a positive view of this guy at all. Not to mention that the U.S. military failed in Iraq and Afghanistan, because after two decades those two nations are failed states.

There were veterans worshiping General Mattis until he turned on Trump’s stupidity and angered MAGA veterans. As for Iraq and Afghanistan, U.S. never lost a single operation on the battlefield. What U.S. didn’t have is serious interest in nation building in either country which takes decades.

A 2019 Rand Corporation study commissioned by the US Department of State and Defense laid out exactly what the plan to undermine and weaken Russia through military support for Ukraine would be. The study suggested arming Ukraine after a coup d'etat, imposing sanctions on Russia; ramping up economic warfare and taking a more aggressive and militaristic posture toward the United States’ international rival - all while warning that this could lead to a military invasion of Russia. And bingo, worked! Now just take the EU as an energy hostage by disconnecting it from Russian energy. They've already done it too, it's true. To destabilize Russia with a war in Ukraine and try a regime change in Moscow as in Kiev and to re-plunder Russia's natural resources as in the 90's with Yeltsin. And finally to ensure that China never accesses Russia's natural resources to continue to grow with the BRI and above all the Eurasian project with Russia and EU! Challenge the economic hegemony of the US dollar as the world's monetary reference. Oops, it looks like this part is going wrong in Global South! and the US risks that 85% of the world's population will stop funding the US debt and the American way of life. Basically plundering the natural resources of all world since the end of WWII. And especially after the dissolution of the USSR with a unipolar world order with the Sheriff in Washington! Now desperate, seeing the military conflict in Ukraine lead to a defeat much worse than Afghanistan despite all the disinformation campaign at MSM and clowns like Petreaus! That knows lose wars like no other soldier alive! Taht's why it's just a puppet and a parrot like the comediant in Kiev.

@@mdfogarty Go call Putin who made your ears. As murderers also always deny their crimes. Everyone knew the intentions of the US after the coup and of NATO 8 years ago in a country that was never part of NATO, long before the outbreak of war. Only the neo-Nazis who empowered the coup killed more in Donbass than three 9/11! Poroshenko even announced at the rallies how he was going to carry out the genocide in Donbass. Anyone with 1 neuron knows how the US has been doing this for over 75 years in all world! Since the CIA coup in Iran - already admitted - in 1953 to steal oil! They waged a war to disconnect Europe from Russian gas and oil, to bleed Russia and depose the Moscow Govt by some puppet like CIA Navalny, go back to looting Russian resources as in the 90s and finally disconnect Russia from China. And a EuroAsian project from China, Russia and the EU. But after these months, everyone lying will come out of Ukraine worse than Afghanistan. Where the Patraeus looser is an expert! P.S. In the 90's with the help of the Saudi oil drop. Have you heard the OPEP + decision now to understand how the world has already changed? Not even sabotaging gas pipelines can get away with this NWO!
