The Spitfire interface, including BBC SO, allows multiple articulations to be selection at the same time. Just hold shift while clicking the extra desired articulations.

I used EW Hollywood orchestra, It works both modulation and articulation, I had to adjust 2CCs to get results it was really suffering. But regarding price and practice, it is almost best choice.

While a part of me holds reservations, I must acknowledge your clear explanation. Undoubtedly, the BBC Symphony Orchestra (BBCSO) offers an extensive content library, surpassing 630 GB, encompassing solo violins, solo cello, percussion, and more. Admittedly, it comes with a hefty price tag, but the exceptional quality justifies the cost. The meticulous effort invested in creating this library truly shines through, making it stand out from other options, including EW libraries and other Kontakt-based alternatives. When striving to make authentically orchestrated pieces, the BBCSO Pro is unparalleled. So, despite the initial hesitation over the price, that part of me recognizes the value it brings to achieving realistic and high-quality composition. And I mean no disprespect. It's just my opinion. Hope you don't hold grudge against me for that.

I use BBCSO PRO in part on almost everything I do. It's been my go-to for years now. Big fan of the leaders included as well.

For orchestral work it’s my go to, I always recommend Core as the one library to go for if your starting out with orchestral mock ups, you won’t need anything else! (Expect and upgrade to pro! 😂) thanks for the comment!

Honestly the winter classic out of all of them stands out, you get both spitfire percussion and spitfire solo strings, both bread and butter libraries, or theirs BBC SO core on sale as well

@Rockstarsf the core is the best value over all, it depends if you want the strings solo instruments (all the other solo instruments are included in core) and the mic positions. If you mainly compose orchestral music and don’t have any other library BBC SO is my go too, you can always upgrade down the road to the Pro, I did do a video going through the 3 different versions kzread.info/dash/bejne/YoiGprKkcsawpco.htmlsi=R0Q1n6MjUh7IkPEH

Don’t forget Musio. Also for $10/month or $100/year, plus they offer a lifetime license (including all future updates) for $1,000. Just note that it’s still fairly new and is still being developed and upgraded as they go. But they already have enough for a new to intermediate composer to have more than enough! I've seen the lifetime license for musio on a 50% sale once, so it will probably happen again. if someone is interested in cinesample's libraries I think it's a great long term investment.

Certainly did give some food for thought. Spitfire is having thei Summer Sale at present (which, naturally, is in the Winter!) Aaargh! So much lovely stuff, but the pocket is empty! What I'm probably going to do is start by getting a Cor Anglais. That's my most immediate need that is not oresent in Core. After that, we'll see what happens.

I got the NI Collector's edition for 900 EUR during the winter sale. I'd say that's the best value bundle out of anything anywhere if one can wait until the next Black Friday. You get the pro orchestra and pretty much everything else NI has ever released (almost). The amount of high-quality stuff is staggering. There are more pro-level instruments and FX than I can ever use actually.

Definitely a great video, low the aesthetics

Won't do Kontact, tried it and it felt the same as joining Apple world. Once you break into that sphere you're almost pushed into committing to everything and your pc starts to fill with stuff you probably don't need. Much prefer separate choices so I can stay in control. 😎

Not a fan of native access 2, I understand where you are coming, I've got a 4tb external SSD and boy has that filled up! But theirs no denying they have some amazing products!

IK Pianoverse has blown everything else out of the water. For a few pence a day you own the world greatest pianos and you don't have to tune them! 😎

You get all the mic positions with EastWest as they no longer sell versions or subscriptions with 1 mic.
