It is not 227 HP, it has 277 HP. I have owned a Limited for over two months now and it has been an amazing vehicle and very fun to drive and one hell of a road trip car for those long hauls. I have had zero problems with this car so far and don't anticipate and issues down the road either. Yes I know no car is perfect but this so far has been in my top 5 vehicles I have owned so far and can't wait to continue the journey.

Oh if this vehicle were about 6 inches shorter with no 3rd row it’d be perfect! I would totally get one

Does this have HAC uphill assist and DAC downhill assist systems?. What about a central or rear lock (which helps off-road)?.

Either you do not know how to drive, or you had the Santa Fe in econ mode. I have a FWD Limited and it will hit 60 mph in 6.5 seconds easily. Also, the 2.5L Turbo is rated at 277 HP not 227.

That’s not exactly accurate: the brothers from Car Confections had the transmission replaced with a few days of purchasing their Santa Fe SEL. The car was fine for a while and then they took the vehicle on a family road trip and started experiencing the same problems with the replacement transmission while they were on the road. Upon returning home, they took the vehicle back to the dealership’s service department to have the problem checked out. They have not mentioned anything about having the transmission replaced a third time. Also, they mentioned that, as far as they know, the issue with their particular Santa Fe is an isolated incident.

@@jgs1564it’s not isolated though. DCT in stop and go traffic is not a good idea because there’s no torque converter and people who drive them normally end up tearing up the transmission. The Sorento uses the same one and car and driver needed it replaced, many complaints from customers too

@@jgs1564 the 1st one lasted 30 miles, and now before 3k miles it either broke again, or a new one replaced it! either way you slice it the dct is a pile of junk! i had one on a 23 santa cruz, i got rid of it before 2k miles, what a pile of garbage that vehicle was!
